Lady is absolutely horrible. Horrible teacher so unclear may know her stuff but has no idea how to teach this. To say she is one of the worst teachers I have ever had is an understatement. I loved this major until I got to her class now I am thinking about switching because I hated this class so much. ABSOLUTELY AWFUL

barbara is a spaz, but a very nice one. she is very open to hearing your thoughts and opinions. very scatterbrained and knows it, there is a lot of reading and responding to reading so you have to do the work to do well. she is so passionate about the topic which can be mistaken for her beaing crazy. willing to help and very understanding

I despise this class. She gives a ton ton ton of work, especially reading and papers. She is rather scatter brained and not very clear. She is however very nice and willing to meet with you/help you; just wasn't worth it for an elective.

Oh, she is so fun! She's very enthusiastic and knows what she is talking about. The class wasn't necessarily easy, and her tests can be tricky, but all in all, if you pay attention and read the books, you should be fine.

Focused, enthusiastic teacher with true committment to subject (was an active field anthropologist before). I enjoyed the texts she assigned; reading & projects were for the most part free of tedious busywork. Also went far out of her way to help me during a hard time. I took this class for granted.
