Dr. Baker is a confusing mess lol. When you ask for clarity she responds by asking the class for the answer. No one was ever sure what she wanted so the question wasn't answered. Most of the exams had questions with more than 1 correct answer. She was all over the place. That class should have been a breeze; you just never knew what she wanted. Ugh

Pretty easy class, just do the work and you will pass.Everything she will test you on will be from the book or notes.Not hard to get an "A" if you try.If you are lazy like me and do everything last minute you'll get a "B". Dr. Baker has an attitude problem but she is fair. Stay on her good side and you wont have any problems.

she was absent the first two weeks of class. when she finally decided to come she expected us to know and understand everything like she had already taught it to us.when you ask questions she make you feel like you should already know and she makes you depend a lot on other students when you do not understand something.the class taught each other

Dr.Baker is a great teacher. Some students think she is a bit strange in her teaching technique. She challenges you to know your 'stuff'and she makes you accountable for your future. DO NOT TAKE THIS CRAAAAZY woman!!! i don't know how she ended up being the only on campus professor at clarkston but it should be ILLEGAL for her to teach. It was a total waste of a semester. class discussion was all over the place, she spoke to people with a dry sarcasm and was very disrespectful. She was incredibly random. dont do it to urself

Ok, I agree that she is a bit strange, but her class is not hard. She gives more than just an opportunity for an A, she makes it almost impossible not to get an A. She gives tons of xtra credit. and really strives to set her students up for success. Class is hard to handle at times just cause it's a little juvenile, but if you want an A take her.

Never 'actually' teaches just rambles on aimlessly. spent way too much time on mundane stuff that you didn't even need. gives study guides but never tests on things she tells you to study. it's kind of like being taught by a cheerleading coach. Dr. Baker's test are never over the material covered in class. She constantly changes due dates for tests, projects, and field observation. A lot of people seem to be intimidated to ask her questions because at times she tries to make you feel stupid for even asking a question.

She's a very politically correct woman. She won't call you by your first name and often calls on people. Don't ask a question because it doesn't matter how nice you are she will bite your head off. Take her if it's your last resort. She gives your stuff to do and you can either do it in class or at home.Just do your work and mind your own business.

I'd only recommend taking her if you HAVE to and are unable to take it elsewhere. She's very snappy, RUDE, and isn't very clear when it comes to teaching the material. As the other reviews stated, she will make you feel stupid for asking her a question about anything. I got an A, but wouldn't take her again for any EDUC course.

Dr. Baker was my least favorite professor. She is very sarcastic and often makes students feel dumb for asking questions. She gives out a review sheet for tests, but then tests on material never talked about in class. Overall I think she passes all her students regardless of their test grades. I would def. not reccomend herfor any edu. majors

She is a st8 forward person. will not sugar code anything or repeat anything. However, she is a great teacher and has many connections, which is good. You must come to class and she gives a lot of extra credit make sure to read the full syllabus all extra credit is in there
