Very Hard Class. I had never taken Spanish and this class was basically 201 level. But if you ask for help she will help you. but don't look at your GPA after taking this class.

Absolutely the worst class I ever took at Taylor. My senior year I needed one more class in Spanish to graduate with a double major. I ended up with major depression that semester, and she was not the least bit helpful or understanding. Failed me without trying to help at all. My double major was out the window.

I loved Dr. Messer. A lot of people in my class had problems with her, but I always thought they were being hypersensitive. She's assertive and can sometimes seem a little abrupt perhaps, but she certainly means well and she's a great teacher.

STAY AWAY, FAR FAR AWAY! On a good day she's nice, but when she has a bad day, made me wish I was NOT in the front row! Grading is bordering on unfair (and I'm not a fussy person, but she killed my GPA). Also, she won't even let students leave the class for the bathroom or to blow their noses! (I didn't even know profs could do that!!)

This professor ruined my GPA as well. She knows her Spanish though. Had done well in her other Spanish classes. I was told to retake the class after my "F". Only problem was that the class would not have been offered for another two years as it was only offered Spring Semester of odd years. Probably would not recommend.

This woman ruined my GPA. I should have ended the class with at least a B+, but she gave me a D-. My parents wrote to academic affairs, I met with her, but she didn't care. Worst teacher of my college career.
