Massive workload, reading, expects you to remember who said what for every reading. Heavy on theory, horrible teaching style. Midterm excessive, quizzes are super tough. Very hard work, feedback: meh at best.

Felt lost in class even after she explained everything. Her syllabus is so confusing, you have to go to every class. She does not teach effectively and hopes that you figure it out yourself. Lots of confused group work. Fun material, horrible teaching approach. This class COULD be awesome or absorbed into Ling 550.

Teaching style was a bit erratic. Start a subject then say, "oh, we'll get to that later"... which meant cramming stuff in at the end. Even the take home group test was confusing!!

Eniko is a very nice woman, she'll try her best to help you, so ask and don't give up! Linguistics is very theoretical, and all things have exceptions to the rules...yet we learn the rules anyway. Read as much as you can. DO NOT MISS CLASS, and I wanted to shoot myself in the face, but going to class is necessary. Reviewing notes after class helps.

Dr Csomay is a great lady. I really had a good time in this class a learned much more than I did in any other class this semester. The material can get very difficult but she does a good job of explaining concepts well. Tests are tricky and the book is a must in order to pass. Take her, she's great!

Dr. Csomay is a very nice lady. She is helpful and understanding when it comes to questions and assignments. Unfortunately the class is a little boring, and so are the readings. Tests aren't too bad. Don't be nervous about the teaching demonstrations either, they are fun and easy to do.

eniko is amazing! this is the second class i took with her and she is truly inspiring! she is more than willing to help any students she can. i highly recommend her to anyone!

Let me just say that this professor is really awesome though her class is something to question. There were many projects to do and it was very difficult to keep up with the mass amounts of readings. However, she is willing to work with you. If you want do well in her class, keep up with the work and readings and you'll secure a "B".

The subject matter is challenging & time consuming. However, she is willing to work with you & answer questions. English is not her first language either, however, she does pretty good on getting her point across.
