Prof. Wright is an excellent professor and covered the material well. He guided class discussions and helped us engage deeper on the subjects of the class. He cares about his students and was open to new ideas and cultivated an excellent learning environment. One of the best classes I have taken.

Best professor I've ever had. Made class entertaining, gave A TON of feedback, course content was interesting, wanted his students to succeed, appreciated a good joke, was looking for constructive criticism and actually acted on that criticism, very knowledgeable of material, a great teacher.

He is a hilarious professor but he is a tough grader. Your grade is made up of only a couple of things: a midterm, a final paper, iClicker questions, and online assignments. The iClicker questions happen once a week and are based on the readings, which are heavy. The midterm was all short answer and no multiple choice.

He was a good professor, enjoyed going to class, but exams were a tad difficult. 2 exams and clicker questions make up your grade. If your not a good test taker, don't take this specific class.

This is the second time I've taken a class with this professor and he formats all the classes really similarly. You need to go to class because he has clicker questions pretty much every class on the readings or for participation. The questions aren't hard and they really help your grade if you don't miss class very often.

Honestly my favorite professor that I have had so far. Professor Wright made 1h15m lectures enjoyable and something to look forward to. He is funny, intelligent, and clearly cares about his students. Would highly recommend this class or any class with him. If you don't take a class with him, you're missing out.

One of the best professors I've had here at UConn. He genuinely cares about each student and their needs. He also presents the material in a very effective manner, and I feel like I've learned so much.

Bradley is awesome. He is very funny and makes the class extremely interesting. There is a lot of reading and you must go to class because clicker points are 1/3 of your grade. He makes going to class worth it and really wants his students to learn the material. I wish I found him earlier in my UConn career!

Brad Wright is an amazing professor. His lectures are extremely entertaining and there is a lot of clips/movies. He's also a really interesting person. There is a lot of reading, but you only need the general idea and you can get the rest from lecture. Answer clicker questions and questions for exams are provided.

Wright is more like a knowledgeable stand-up comedian. His sense of humor is incredible as he can make all of us laugh at every single class! Only graded on two multiple-choice exams and clicker questions, and he gives exam questions ahead of the actual exams. Anyway, a nice and funny person. I'm not a Sociology major but want to take him again.

Very easy class as long as you show up to lectures. You're only graded on two exams and the clicker questions on the readings. He assigns a lot of reading for classes, but the questions are usually general enough that you can get away with not doing the readings. For both exams he gives you the questions, but not the answers ahead of time.

Only grades for the class are clicker questions and two exams. His lectures are really interesting and he makes them engaging so you don't feel like dying since its a longer class. He's kind of like the dad you always wanted. Would highly recommend taking any of his classes. Exams aren't hard if you go to every class and read (100+ pages a week).

Great professor, he makes the class entertaining as well. The readings are interesting and sometimes the iclicker questions are just common sense. Overall funny and great caring guy. He drops a couple quiz questions in case u missed class or got a bad grade in them. Plus he gives you the questions to midterm a couple days before the actual exam

I graduated from Uconn in 2009 and was privaledged to have Dr. Wright for two (or three classes). After Uconn I spent 2 more obtaining my Masters. Obviously I've been out of the classroom game for a while but I can tell you he was easily the best professor I've ever had. Completely down to earth, approachable, funny and just an overall great guy.

I loved this class - Brad is super friendly, approachable and kind, and genuinely cares for his students' well being. He was extremely helpful when I had physical and mental health concerns, and made accommodations foor any student who felt as though they needed it. Attendance is MANDATORY, participation is 1/3 of your grade.

Wright is a phenomenal professor that genuinely cares about his students. I had a tough semester due to personal reasons and he was so helpful and understanding. The class consists of a decent amount of readings each week that are then used to form clicker questions which make up 1/3 of your grade. the other 2/3 are from exams.

The class content itself is very interesting. When class starts you have 2-3 quiz questions which are from the readings assigned for the week. I honestly never did the readings all I did was look at the headings & I got a 97% on the quiz questions. He drops 10 questions. He gives you all exam questions & you just have to find the answers. Take it

Wright himself is entertaining, but this class isn't what I expected. The endless readings for HW are never discussed in class; you're quizzed on them when you walk in and that's it until exam time. Lectures are boring & last forever, even for a class about committing crime. Daily iClicker quizzes are 1/3 of your grade so show up!

I absolutely loved this class. It was his first time teaching Social Well-Being. This class was 3 hours long, a quiz at the beginning of each class. Need iClicker. The exam was hard but he gives you all of the questions, just not the answers. he is a really cool guy and I would recommend taking this course.
