Guder is a kind professor outside of class & always willing to help. But don't ask questions in class because he will make you feel dumb and belittle you. The class is out of 100 points total which leaves little room for error. His lectures and assignments are VERY unorganized as well. Overall decent professor but could find better

He is an AWESOME Stats Professor. 3 Exams, 3 Homework Assignments, and many opportunities for extra credit! He is funny and teaches in a way that is easy to understand stats. There are only 3 exams, so study by watching his videos on Panapto. Exams are Straight-Forward. Def recommend taking him for Biz. Stats

Guder is a good professor as long as you pay attention in class. I didn't pay attention in class for any of the exams and still got A's on all of them. He uploads videos that are really easy to follow and if you watch them you'll get an A if you don't understand lecture. There is extra credit. On the final he essentially told us everything on it

Professor Guder seems like a nice guy at first. As you progress through the course, you realize that one tiny mistake can impact your grade severely. He is a tough grader with no forgiveness and will yell at you in front of the class if you attempt to have a civil discussion with him. Would not recommend him in the slightest.

He's a good professor if you pay attention in class -- its important to talk to him if you feel lost because all the lectures build off of each other. tests weren't too hard and homework is easy if you know what ur doing. no books required and he offered two extra credit assignments.

Professor Guder was really nice but his lectures seemed super unorganized and all over the place so it was hard to really learn anything. There are 3 homework assignments and 3 exams, the third exam being the final which is cumulative. I felt lost in every lecture so I basically just had to teach myself everything before the exams.

Dr. Guder is the best professor I've ever had!! He is SO incredibly kind, helpful, and caring. He goes ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure students learn the material and is willing to work with people outside of class. I can't put into words how much I love this professor, but do not take him for granted! Also, his exams and homework are easy.

Professor Guder was very helpful and explained the material really well. He makes himself available outside class for further questions. He gives a lot of examples which was really helpful. A lot of homework but it helped with understanding the problems in class. Exams are just like the problems you work on through class. Definitely recommend!

Professor Guder is a very good teacher. He teaches at a very slow pace and therefore is easy to follow. The only problem with the class is that there are very few points and little room for error. Attendance is not mandatory, but if you pay attention in class or watch his online videos, you should get an A.

I couldn't believe how well I did in this professors class. I was dreading taking Statistics throughout my entire MBA program, but he made it so easy to understand through the use of technology that would actually be available in the real-world, instead of making us do everything by hand. Go to class, and work on the homework as he teaches.

Dr. Guder is a generous professor who will go out of his way to help you. His tests are not hard. This is a self taught class. He doesn't know how to teach his students and his lectures are very confusing. If you don't like statistics or have trouble learning on your own, I would take someone else

Dr. Guder is my favorite teacher at Loyola. He is funny and entertaining, but his classes are not fluffy. His teaching style is well rounded: class attendance, homework, projects, and 2 exams make up your grade. Stats are his forte, but operations is a good class too. He is organized and provides essential class information in color-coded handouts.

Great guy. Funny, makes a boring class easy to go to. Bad news is his ambiguity and inflexibility regarding student projects. Was never clear or consistent on what he wanted. Too much work!! Three exams, weekly homework and a huge-ass project as well?? I like Prof. Guder but prepare yourself...

Poor job of explaining what the numbers mean. Mostly rote memorization of formulas. Poor job of invilving srudents in the lecture discussion. Almost none at all, which I find odd for a graduate level class.

Dr. Guder enjoys teaching that makes his class a very interesting one. He is very patient and respectful of the students. ISOM 492 has been one of the best courses that I took at Loyola. I look forward to coming to his class on Thursdays. Thanks, Dr. Guder, for a great job.
