Moran's Phi101 night class is almost 3 hours long, long lecture. Attendance + effective note-taking are a must. Heavy use of textbook both w at home reading & in class referencing. If you need help speak up sooner than later, she's there to help. About 5 quizzes, midterm and final. You can do well if you study hard but it's hard work. Nice teacher

She is one of the sweetest people I have ever met! She actually kind of reminds me of my grandma. She made class fun for me when i thought Philosophy would suck. She never kept us the full 3 hours and the second half we would talk about her grade schoolers. Easy and a sweet lady.

Moran is the best professor for 101! No homework just to do the reading. If you take good notes and read before class you will Ace the quizzes/midterm/final. Easy A. She never kept us for the full 3 hours. Knows her stuff!

Awful professor, gives you no direction. Quizzes are oral so you have no study material. No homework or paper which is great except when the final and the mid term are 2/3 of your grade and you have no idea what is going to be on them because you learn so much information.

Everyone here has stated that it is not that bad of a class, that is unless you want to actually learn something. Ms. Moran was useless, would not be helpful to me outside of the class. Her ethics are unacceptable to Canisius. I would avoid taking her if possible, not a great teacher by any means.

Professor Moran's Existentialism class is so intersting and she makes things easy to understand. She gives quizzes but as long as you take notes they are easy. I can't stand Philosophy but this is the best class I have taken at Canisius. Take it... you won't be disappointed!

Philosophy is difficult but teaches in a way where its understandable. (Gets you to thinking about the issues)Nice and approachable. Didnt use the book much, mainly lectured and took notes. Quiz every class, 1 midterm and 1 final. Would definitely recommend!

Easy class, NO PAPERS ya thats right NO PAPERS, quiz's are all in the book and what she goes over. Definitely take her, however she does keep you the whole time, she does give a break, but hey just get up n go if you cant sit there anymore.

Great class. Very interesting discussions. Class is fairly easy as well (no papers). Professor is very friendly and helpful. Get out early most of the time. Worth taking the 3 hour class!

Great teacher, class is really easy and funny, no papers, quizes are t/f and multiple choice. Book is required but we never used it. Worst thing is she only has night classes
