Dr. Campbell is an amazing professor I truly learned a lot in his class over the summer. There was in total 3 essays and a few reading assignments. It was a little more challenging to write the essays because it was over the summer so we had less time but Dr. Campbell is very understanding and helped us a lot.

Comment:

Love Dr. Campbell! One of the best professors at VVC. This isn't your usual English class because it is discussion-based. There are 3 essays in this class (I think). He prefers quality over quantity (no hard page minimum). Participate in the discussions during class because most are great and fulfilling. Take him for everything if you can!

Dr Campbell is definitely the smartest guy in the department. Take him for every class if you can. He will push you to be the best writer within your ability, and even a little beyond your own ability. You will come out the the class learning something every single day. The best class and an even better professor!

The most amazing teacher I have ever had. English is not my best subject. It has always been difficult for me. He completely changed my view. He taught me so much and cared more than any other teacher Ive had. I wish I could take his class again. I already transferred.

Campbell is an AMAZING professor. I didn't pass the class because I wasn't able to show up to school, but if you attend class everyday you can definitely pass. He is a tough grader, so work hard. He is hilarious and has a great personality, which in my opinion makes him charming. Also his smile is so cute, I could watch him lecture all day :)

I took Dr. Campbell in the summer for 6 weeks and had to write 3 essays. He made English super fun and was extremely helpful with my essays. The class participation was also very helpful with the essays. I would take Dr. Campbell again definitely.

I took him for Eng. 102 & 104. He enjoys creativity with essays. He does a couple of peer reviews, I took 104 in six weeks and there were only 3 essays, there is no midterm or final. He has a final paper 8-12 pgs. His lectures are hilarious with the right classmates. He talks very fast but students become acclimated quickly. Take him if possible.

Hands on the best Professor I have ever had in college. He is willing to help you in everything you need. He is also hilarious, and gives good feedback. Definitely have to earn for your grades though. Overall, I recommend him 100% if you are willing to dedicate the time to become a better writer.

I was nervous when first taking his class, but soon found out that there was nothing to be worried about. As long as you attend class and ask him for feedback, he will definitely help you! He is so kind and hilarious. Take his class, you wont be sorry.

Dr. Campbell is an amazing professor! He made English and school such a great experience. He is a brilliant professor, and you can sense the love and passion he has for education. His grading techniques helped me find my inner perfectionist and taking his class boosted my confidence in my writing skills. I learned so much in his class.

Campbell is by far the best English teacher I have ever taken at VVC. Took him for winter term. Class was fairly easy and straightforward. Participate in discussions and listen to his feedback and advice, you will easily pass. Very interesting course material, and he makes discussions very interactive and interesting. All-together amazing teacher!

Hes great, no final, no midterm, a quiz every 2-3 weeks on the novel. He can be a hard grader but if you fix your mistakes, then youll be fine. The texts and contexts novel is very hard to understand and follow, so quizzes are hard. Essays and participation pts. help make up for lower quiz grades.

Bryce is a wonderful professor who will push you to improve your writing skills. His class is on the difficult side, and I have to admit I struggled. Luckily he compensates for that by his humor and by being very caring and helpful to his students. He's also very approachable and will give good advice. You will become a better writer thanks to him.

Campbell has been the professor I chose for English 101 and stick with through Honors 102 & 104. I have seen my writing greatly improve after having him for 3 semesters, and I recommend him to students who want to cooperate with a professor that will challenge them to grow as writers and thinkers.

Dr. Campbell is definitely a wonderful professor to choose for English. He is extremely knowledgeable of the subject, has burning passion to educate college students, and has a great amount of consideration. Bryce is incredibly funny and very understanding. As a preschool assistant I have to go to a lot of trainings and PBIS meetings which means I have to leave an hour early or skip a whole day. He's hilarious and straightforward so make sure you're thick-skinned. We do a lot on MLA citation and a lot of peer critiques. He's extremely smart and kind.

Hes by far the best teacher Ive had ever. He actually cares, hes funny as hell, and isnt shy to go in depth on any topic. Hes willing to be there for you if u need help or have any concerns. He grades honestly and will let you know what you did wrong. A few easy tests. Hes the definition of what an Engl. Professor should be. 10/10 recommend.

Dr. Campbell made English 45 absolutely enjoyable! With only a handful of essays, a few quizzes, and several days of helpful, knowledgeable lectures, this class is definitely manageable! I can not stress enough how great of a professor he is, and how much I would love to take him for every single English class.
