Dr. Cornelison is very enthusiastic, her classes are fun and interesting. She puts TONS of information on Blackboard so you don't need a textbook and was very helpful and encouraging. Take note: you are expected to study and memorize all work every-single-week. Also, her TAs grade extremely hard and will nitpick everything to death!

I took HA 150 as an elective. Her lectures are so bone dry and she is so tense and she never takes a breath the entire time. I absolutely hated this class and my TA was awkward as could be. This took all of the fun out of art.

Dr. Cornelison is a good lecturer and definitely covers all the material you will have to know for the test. Her lectures are clear, concise, and detailed. If you take notes, do the readings, and spend time on memorization, you will be fine. However, her lectures are also extremely dry. I love art history and I find myself staring at the clock.

It was a 500-level class, so of course there was a lot of work to manage. Her teaching style is intellectually stimulating, but only if you are legitimately interested in the subject matter. Overall I had a pleasant experience and learned a lot, but I wouldn't take a course from her again.

Really hard. Be prepared to study at least 10 hours or more per test. Date are important in her tests. My least favorite class, it takes the fun out of art. TA's grade very hard, unreasonable.

Sally is a good professor, the only thing is that the TA's grade EXTREMELY HARD. Hard class!

This is a hard class. She doesn't try to make it hard, the subject material is hard. If your looking for an easy class...look else where. She is very knowledgeable about subject, but it is a lot to learn. She is pretty fun though. Attendance is voluntary but if you miss one class you are dropping your test grade cause the book by itself wont do.

Dr. Cornelison is a great teacher. Her lecture slides are very helpful and the weekly sheets are great when preparing for the tests. Go to lectures and to discussions (the TA's were amazing) and study more than an hour for the tests and you should get a B or higher. I would definitely take another one of her art history classes, she's helpful too!

I actually thought she was pretty entertaining, considering the material. She points out some of the funnier aspects of a painting which maybe you wouldn't notice. She's informative and really knows her stuff. The tests are a little tough but I'd take her class again in a heartbeat. Unfortunately I think she's taking next year off for her research.

It's kinda boring but just go to class and study the info on the weekly sheets and its real easy. You just have to remember to never leave your cell phone on during class.

She was interested in the subject, but was a very boring teacher to listen to. Needed to make the class more exciting so I didn't want to sleep through it.

She isn't very approachable even if she is the undergrad counselor. During advising time, she complained about all the appointments she had. She knows her stuff, but it's not really clear on what she wants on her papers because the TA grades them, not her.

I like her sense of humor, but she tends to drag out one work for too long and I lose interest easily as I begin to drift off to sleep. If the class moved along a little faster, I'm sure I wouldn't be falling asleep. You have to REALLY love Art History to take this one......wow. Study flash cards early and it shouldn't be too hard though.
