All of the reviews for 6521 are pretty accurate in terms of assignments/grading. Dr. C is funny, knowledgeable, & genuinely cares that you understand the content. Summer session was tough with so many assignments but it's well organized. I loved his review videos, super helpful

Dr. C is a very good professor and does explain material so everyone can explain it. Video reviews of homework, quizzes and exams are very helpful. Tough but you will definitely learn in his class. Homework and quizzes helps offset tough tests. Homework and quizzes on every Chapter, 3 exams and cumulative Final exam.

Dr C is GREAT! One of the best profs I've had in my MBA program. He wants students to understand the "story" of accounting and how it works and why it's important. I took this class in the summer. It's intense and a lot of work. Be SURE to watch the videos of him working the homework and quizzes. It's key to doing well on your exams!

Took during summer session. A lot of work but the class was very straightforward. Tests were moderately difficult but classwork was very manageable. I really like classes that are organized like this one. Would definitely recommend.

Class consists of weekly exercises (no grade), homework (not timed), quizzes (30 mins, 9-12 questions), and 4 tests (3 at 1.5 hrs and a cumulative final 2 hrs). Test are closed book and no notes allowed. Replaces your lowest exam grade with your final (if higher). Class uses an online book/system for problems. Do the work and you'll do fine.

Material is VERY relevant to business, learned a lot. Material is not very hard if you listen to lectures, practice problems and understand "the story". Puts every problem in a business perspective. 4 Tests (3 section tests, final cumulative). He is there for you if you are not understanding. Replaces lowest exam with final grade. 35% HW, 65% Tests

Material is tough but professor is helpful. Homework & quiz after every chapter. 3 tests & a comprehensive final. Final is 21% of grade but questions are just like the ones on the tests. His videos are very helpful when the online book isn't clear. Always responds to questions via email in a timely manner. I personally would not take this in summer

He's an ok guy and a straightfoward professor. If you put in the work you'll do fine. The class itself is actually the hard part but he doesn't make it any easier. Exam study guides prepare you ok but his exams are still pretty tricky. Lecture videos are kind of a pain to watch but it's something. Homeworkquizzes help out your final grade a lot.

Dr. Christian is a nice person, but a terrible teacher. When going over examples in class, he doesn't actually do the example, but instead looks at "the story." If you ask him to actually work the problem that's being asked, he will most likely ignore it. He also makes you watch lectures online, which do not help all that much.

Dr. Christian is a great teacher. People misunderstand his teaching style but he is doing the best he can to teach a difficult course. If you are not willing to read the textbook, you are not going to make it in this class nor as an accounting major. He is very helpful and takes effort into consideration when finalizing grades

He is the only Intermediate 1 accounting teacher at ECU and i don't know how he isn't fired yet. Forgot about all that nice guy stuff we are here to learn and get degrees so we can find a good job. Bring in a teacher that can actually teach. His exams are very tough and he doesn't teach you anything. You have to read the chapters and teach yourself

Great teacher, does what many other teachers don't and that is go over your homework which in my opinion makes a world of difference in what information your retain for the test. There's not much lecture in class, it is all learning so when he says watch the lecture videos, actually watch them. Great teacher, enjoyable class even tho it was summer!

Dr. Christian is a nice professor. He is willing to help anytime during his office hours. Material is difficult and he doesn't teach the information in class so be prepared! I wouldn't suggest taking a big course load with this class.

It seems like he knows what he is talking about but he is NOT a good professor. He doesn't know how to teach and just writes stuff down on his computer screen and expects students to understand what he is talking about. He is a cool guy but dont' take him as a professor, you will regret it. Dr.Cal. Please change your teaching style and use the board

Dr. Christian is a great professor. This material is difficult, but that isn't his fault. I feel well prepared coming at out of this class. Study the study guides carefully to do well on his tests. I also took 2401 online during the summer. If you take an online summer session in accounting, then expect it to be difficult. Its college!

Seems like a nice guy, but does not teach at all. Do not expect to do well unless you are good at teaching yourself accounting. I took online over the summer, so obviously I expected it to be harder, but there were no teaching involved except for mymathlab homework and quizzes that took hours to complete. Don't take unless you are an acct expert!
