Dr. Gutterman is probably the smartest lady I've ever met. I'm a senior and I still use notes from her class to study! You do have to work really hard to do well but its 100% possible to get an A. Definitely take her class - it's worth it.

Comment:

Dr. Gutterman is a try gem, she is an amazing professor who gives students many chances to pass. I had her for NUR 129 and NUR 229 and I don't know how well I would have done if I didn't have her. She has strong opinions and she has no problem saying what's on her mind. She teaches in an amazing matter that the class doesn't drag & very enjoyable.

Record her lectures, everything she says including little details are on the test! You cant cram and study for this class so you should try and read a little each day. She does seem unapproachable but shes a great professor, dont know how I passed but I did somehow and im an average B student.

Patho is definitely not an easy course, however Professor Gutterman provides you with her course pack that includes all of her slides. She is very intelligent and explains everything in great detail. My best advice is to record her lectures, listen to them and take great notes. She's a real gem and I would recommend her to anyone.

Prof. gutterman is an amazing and very intelligent woman. If I could take her again I would. The material is not easy so don't think it's an easy A but if you work hard and memorize her course pack you'll do well. Out of all patho teachers she's the one to take!

Amazing teacher, The lecture is long and boring but I actually remember things she says in class because she makes it interesting with her stories. She is blessed by God, she has experienced everything! You don't need the textbook, just read the course pack. Theres a lot of slides to memorize and her test can be very challenging but very passable.

Comment:

Professor Gutterman definitely knows what she is talking about. She is very knowledgable and absolutely hilarious. Her stories are repeated every lecture but are nonetheless funny. You have a midterm, a final, a paper and a crossword. For the tests there are 300+ slides on each so STUDY HARD. Exams difficult but not hard to pass if you read a lot.

Took Dr. Gutterman's class over the summer session and I really enjoyed her teaching style. She made the class easy to sit through. She told many stories about her career and life that will always stick with me. If you pay attention and do your part as a student, you shouldn't have any problems.

She knows the content, answers questions with confidence. Has great stories and the information is on the tests. Very tough tests. You get the grade you work hard for. Would recommend her and would take her for everything she teaches. Very nice lady.

Sweet lady. Love her, but very tough. Questions come from her notes and lecture. Read everything in her notes even the stuff in very small lettering. She asks questions from her stories too which are interesting and entertaining. Just know her notes inside out and I don't mean skim it - know every word.

A professor that you will always remember. She is a very sharp and quick witted so Don't BS her projects or test because she will give you a zero. Truly wants her students to succeed. She will tell you how so pass her class the first day write it down and refer back to it. Make sure you understand the terms and concepts. No suprises on test.

Will make you work for your grade. This class is VERY tough class, need to understand material, memorization will get you nowhere. She is strict but only because she wants her students to do well. I probably learned the most in this class than I have ever leaned in a class. Such an inspirational professor her method of teaching works well!

Don't need the txtbk, only her coursepak. Test are tough. Need to study to pass. Lectures are long, recommend recording her. Love her stories, pay attention to them because it will help with the test. She's not helpful. You can't review your test with her and can't ask any questions during the test. So you don't know what you got wrong.

This professor is a character, and not in a good way. She is unapproachable so do not try to ask her a question because she overreacts and will not end up helping you. She does not correspond her power points with the textbook and her slides are all over the place, very difficult to understand. Does not give a cumulative final. No textbook.
