Comment:

I took this online class during the summer as a transient student from Auburn. One of the best decisions I have made. You do have to study and prepare for exams, but Dr. Colvin is always there to help and her practice tests are very similar to the real things. She truly wants you to succeed, just do your assignments and study for the tests.

Great teacher! She grades homework and practice tests, so it is not hard to pull your grade up a bit. All homework is on blackboard so you do not need to buy the book.

I took this class online over the summer. I took calculus in highschool so it was a review for me, but overall I would say her class is very easy to follow. She explains things well. You just have to make sure you're caught up with work

She is very fast paced in class, so I found myself relying on her lecture videos, BEWARE SHE EXPECTS 100% ALGEBRA ACCURACY!!! If you aren't the best algebra student, just do a 180 and go somewhere else. ( When I say a good algebra student, I mean excellent). Also, her test do show some variation from the review material.

Dr. Colvin is a fantastic teacher. I took the class online over the summer and her course is very in depth and is by far the best online course I've taken. Her lecture videos are great and she works out all of the homework and posts the video as well. 2 in person tests, 3 online tests, and homework graded by effort. Great teacher and great class.

Dr. Colvin was the best math teacher I have ever had. I took both Cal 1 and 2 with her and made an A in both! She teaches you practically and is very easy to understand. I would recommend her to anyone!

Ms. Colvin was an excellent professor! I understood more with her than in high school. She is very clear and to the point with her teaching and makes sure everyone in the class understands it. She gives extra points to the class during most lectures, but you have to be there. Expect homework, but it is easy and she will be glad to help!

Colvin has been the best math teacher I have ever had. She makes it so easy and explains it so well. The only thing I would have to say is that her voice sometimes gets annoying and monotone. But she is very sweet and does not mind to stay after class when needed. You also get out early every day.

Very good teacher. She explains very well and also posts her lectures online. It is very helpful for reviewing things you may have forgot. If you miss class, you can still catch the lecture online(usually). She gives a progress report after every test so you know exactly where you stand. She gives some bonus points, not a lot, you have to earn them

Ms. Colvin has been the best teacher I've had at Snead. She has a true gift for teaching; she can express ideas and concepts so clearly that the only way you do badly is if you don't pay attention or slack off. She provides excellent online resources (powerpoints and video lectures) that are very helpful in class. She makes math an enjoyable class!

Mrs. Colvin is wonderful!! I hate math and never understand it, but she got me through. She was very patient, fair and helpful. I actually began to like math for the first time ever. Snead has an EXCELLENT Math Team!! Thanks to ALL of you, couldn't have made it without you guys!!
