Everyone keeps whining because it's a difficult class, she's a fine teacher for it. I got a B+ but I would have had an A had I done more homework. Don't let the comments scare you, she's a nice lady and I learned what I needed to from her.

literally the worst teacher I've ever had. I have a 3.5 and it was challenging for me to get a C in this class, not because of how difficult the work is, but because of how many unnecessary assignments she gives you. If you are planning on taking any other courses with this one, you should reconsider.

Absolutely Horrible. I'm taking her for the summer and I wish I would have come to ratemyprofessors first. We literally spent 3 hours one class doing work without ANY input from her. She REFUSES to teach anything and any questions I ask during her office hourse she acts as if it's an inconvience.

H O R R I B L E. do not take class with her. does not teach, if your taking any other classes might as well drop them because she doesnt allow you any time. assigns the most homework i have ever had for any class an this is a 100 level class. GOOD LUCK

You really have to have time to take this class, so don't take more than maybe 10-14 hours at most. Homework takes too long (It once took me all weekend to get it done), she does not go over it the next class and expects you to go to the website to go over it yourself, and exams are worth too many points.

Absolutely the worst teacher I have ever had. While she is indeed nice and helpful outside of class, she is horrible in the classroom. Avoid her at all costs. I took the class with her and got a D, then waited a quarter, forgot what little she taught us, and took it with Freeland and got an A.

Horrible teacher! Goes very fast. Gives no examples. No solutions in timely manner. Doesnt follow the examples in the textbook. Expects you to do everything yourself. Isnt clear on instructions. Often writes wrong numbers when figuring problems on the board. If you can take a different teacher for any accounting section, I HIGHLY suggest you do so.

She isn't very clear and she expects you to teach yourself on a lot of the subject matter. If you fall behind, go to her and ask for help. She is a nice lady and does care about your progress BUT you have to show interest first! This is a very hard class but I think she makes it harder than it has to be. Lots of homework every night and hard exams.

Worst teacher I have had in all of my school career. Seems like you are constantly being reprimanded for asking questions or for clarification. It had gotten to the point in my class where people were afraid to ask questions. Also, if no one knows an answer to her question, she won't tell you, even if it's not in her beloved binder (it's useless).

One of the worst professors at OU. Expect to do hours of homework for every class and really hard tests. Not a particularly nice lady. Actually babysat her 3 year old grandkid in the front of the room while "teaching" us a few times.

Not too bad of a class if you go to SI sessions you are guaranteed to get homework finished and be able to get extra questions answered. The only reason why i did well in this class is because of SI!!! GO TO SI SESSIONS!

Accounting 101 is a hard class and Kirch does not answer questions in class. BUT it is a weed out class for the COB. if you go and speak with her out side of class she is more than willing to help. Class can definitely be a little painful but if you show up semi-pay attention do the homework and study for the exams any one can get a good grade.

This class will make you so sad. Like a watching a family member die for two hours straight. You're going to have to teach yourself the material. I've learned more in the SI sessions than in the actual class. She takes attendance so you can't skip.
