Amazing professor. This is a tough class because it is full of so much information, but Dr. Linn helps out a lot by making 6 exams and shortening the amount of information you have to study. Her lectures are great and basically what she talks about in class is what is on the exams. I definitely recommend taking her class when its available.

Took Human Physiology with Dr. Linn Summer I - 2016 and I have to say it was hands down my favorite class of my entire degree. Dr. Linn is an amazing professor as she explains the material very well in class. Associated lab was very fun and actually useful in understanding the material. Only required 2 one page abstracts. If you can take her class.

Her exams are pretty straight forward just make sure you read through the questions carefully. She tells you what will be on the exams but you can always interpret what the answer is. She grades the two abstracts roughly. Overall she is decent and probably the best professor for this course

I'm sure she's fine for undergraduate classes, but she absolutely does not understand the material she teaches at a graduate level. I could feel myself getting dumber as I sat through entire lectures where not a single concept was taught accurately. Entirely unacceptable.

I learned so much from this class. It was a lot of work and I always studying for the tests, which are every other week but it made me keep up on the material. I really enjoyed this class and the labs were really cool. Also you have to type 3, if i remember correctly, abstracts instead of a long research paper. Take this class with her!

Very nice, very approachable. She teaches you everything you're tested on so take good notes. it is a lot of material but she has many years of teaching experience. i did not have a problem with clarity, she is one of the best professors I've had yet.

Cindy Linn is not a clear teacher. She always mixes up concepts and doesn't even realize it until students mention her mistakes. When you go to her about an exam mistake, she tries to fight you on it really hard, and then you have to keep showing her evidence that she's wrong, until she finally realizes the mistake she's made. This happened twice.

Comment:
Dr. Linn is very sweet and willing to help you with material, as much as you need. However, she is not always very good at explaining things, as she often mixes up content and says wrong things, before she realizes it is wrong. She is usually not willing to realize her mistakes and it takes a long time to convince her when she is obviously wrong.

Great Professor, loves what she does. There is a lot of material but If you take good notes her lectures will teach you all you need to know. She is great at explaining things and is a fair grader. She is always open when there is a dispute IF you go to her and talk to her. Put in the effort and you will be just fine and will learn a lot.

Very organized and explained difficult concepts clearly. Dr. Linn is one of the best professors I have had since she makes you learn to apply the physiology she teaches us.

Comment:
Most unorganized professor I've ever had, she will never explain why to a situation, simply responds with "because," never looks into more information to help you better understand a topic. Her grading is absolutely terrible and after having her for 2 classes, I still cannot understand it. And expects your scientific paper to consume your life.

Terrible teacher, she goes through the information terribly fast and expects and exam every two weeks. She gave false information many times and expected us to know what was wrong instead of right. The scientific paper you have to right is not even close to publishable, and if you ask her the format she'll say "format of Linn"

Dr. Linn works very hard at getting students to understand the concepts associated with physiology. She is a very good teacher overall. She expects a lot but it's not too hard to get an A in the class if you keep up with all the assignments. The key is to keep up with the work

The material is somewhat difficult, but Dr. Linn will tell you exactly what you need for her tests. She is a picky grader, but she makes sure that you know what she says you should learn. She will make you work hard, but her class is worth the work. She runs a lot of powerpoint slides, but she takes time to explain the difficult material.

She contradicts her own tests in lecture. Horrible grading. Don't give her any more information that the absolute basics because if she doesn't know something it is wrong rather than looking into it herself. Also answers many questions with "I don't know." Very frustrating grading, especially lab reports.

Dr. Linn is a great teacher. She explains concepts very well and completely. Her lectures are taught from power point slides and the exams are multiple choice. The final is "copy & paste" from the previous lecture exams. There is a lot to keep up with in this class, but her students tend to do very well.
