Only class I've ever had to withdraw from. He only has 4 tests that make up your entire grade and wants you to put in 8 hours for this class a week in order to even pass. Not very approachable and very strict

Started off hating this professor but since my first class with him he has grown on me. He even inspired me to be an accountant. His class and tests are hard but if you're willing to work for it you can get a great grade in his class. If you have a class with him do yourself a favor and find a test bank

He is the worst professor ever. He talks about his 5 wives that he does not have. He does not give you examples. He only gives you the one example in the book. He sucks as a professor and wish that he would retire. Students and faculty all hate him. Only people who pass his class cheat and have test bank and previous test.

When I first took Dr. Cochran, I thought he was the biggest jerk ever. However, after a semester with him, I've grown to love him as a professor. Although his tests are EXTREMELY difficult, I feel like he tries his best to prepare students for them. :) Plus he's really funny.

Took 240 with him as well and loved it! Hilarious! Guy knows what he talking about; by far the BEST teacher. If you're a slacker, you won't make it in this class. The majority of people on here whines because they can't handle the heat. Let prof. Brown babies you...b/c that's how it is in life. Put in the work and you'll reap the reward.

Dont take his class, He put down the students on first day. doesnt care about u at all. He rather talk about himself or make crazy comment. I wish i withdrawal when i had the chance. if you have disability accommodation letter he doesnt take them. so dont take him. Never gonna take him again.

Really is a great guy. Very funny, can let his politics get in the way of his class. Always has funny stories. His class itself isn't difficult, Read the chapters and pay attention in class and you can get a C easily. It's a matter if you want to put in the work, and it really prooves itself.

He is a really funny guy and spends A LOT of class time talking about random stories. I mean, it keeps me interested. The material itself isn't hard, but his tests are. You have to put A LOT of work into his class if you want to get higher than a C.

Cochran is the absolute worst professor I have had here at Longwood. He is extremely rude, talks down to his students, and goes way too fast in class for you to keep up. His tests are easy enough if you study A LOT, but I would never recommend this professor. Half of his classes are made up of people he failed in past semesters. DO NOT TAKE HIM

Dr. Cochran is by far the best teacher at Longwood. His own experience is worth taking the course. Don't take him if you want a cake walk in accounting. Must work hard for a B but is very attainable if you show the effort. Will gain much more in his class than any other class at longwood if you come and pay attention.

Dr. Cochran is one of the best teachers I have ever had, and by far one of the best at Longwood. Many people dislike him because they don't know how to take his humor (he's VERY sarcastic). He will put you on the spot and he expects you to work hard in his class. Do the homework from the book and STUDY A LOT before the tests and you'll do fine.

Dr. Cochran is by FAR the best professor I've had. I was hesitant to take him (many females said he was a prick) but I LOVE his classes! His jokes are so cheesy that you just laugh..and they do NOT take up "a lot of class time". They keep you interested and then he gets RIGHT back on track. I've learned a LOT..espec. about the real world and saving
