He tried to make lecture as interesting as he could and he uses lots of examples. You will not pass the 4 exams if you do not study all of your notes. Says the book is required but we only used it once and he put the page we needed on the projector. One small paper at the end of the semester that takes 30 minutes or less to write.

Don't buy the book for this class I didn't and still pulled off a C. You can use your notes from this class to pass. He gives you 6 quizes and throws 1 out at the end. Plus you can retake 1 and make 1 up. He lets you go over the test after you take it and write down the questions and answers.

I LOVE this teacher! I took him for Psy 202 and 210! If you want a teacher who is easy to understand, relates well with the class, loves what he does, and makes class interesting, take Dr. Dunkel. He is such a great guy! If you take him for 210, be prepared to study the notes! The tests are difficult but passable if you study the notes from class!

I agree with the majority rule here. He is one of the more interesting teachers you could find at ICC. If you are looking for more your standards are way too high. Pay attention in class and you'll barely need to study. He breaks everything down in easy to understand language and makes it less dry. Very good teacher!!
