he is horible at exlaning thing if you dont understand the math befor you take him dont take him and if you ever have him drop the class as fast as possible i aced the class becouse i knew the stuff but i went in there and listend to him lecture and was confused about the stuff i already knew he is the dumbist man alive and should not be teaching

It is sad when you start out with 20 some students in the class and 3 weeks into the semester your lucky to get 15 students to show up. He is boring and very confusing. I hate how we have to do the problems his way. And most of the time when he is showing us what to do he does the math wrong so we end up having to tell him how to do the problem.

Mr. Ickerd tries really hard and really knows his stuff but is not good at actually teaching it to others. He is EXTREMELY confusing, and even though I asked him for help several times ( he really did try!) I came away more confused than before. Only reason I passed is my fiancee is a Math major. Even then I only got a C. Would not recommend.

Tends to go off in middle of showing a process "let me show you this 1st" & confuses the class. DOES NOT GRADE ON CURVE! Gives partial credit on work done. His schedule no matter what -"if you don't have it you just won't get it" & moved on. Practice tests are no help. More interested in showing what he knows than in teaching. Grade based on tests.

if you don't get an a in this class, then you should bee in a lower math class. He grades on a big curve, gives credit for attempted problems (including extra credit). The grade is based only on tests, but if you at least try to answer you should at least get a 3.0. I wish I had him this semester!

do not like this class one bit, and i dont think many will. Class is graded basesd on all tests. Homework at your own will, "his way" is the way its tought, u dont learn any short cuts or anything simple, uses too many big words no one cares about, cant wait for class to be over!

I hatttttttte this man! He talks too fast & he seems to expect u to know what he knows. He has a way of making u feel like your in a elementary math class. He is so clear with his teaching he will confuse u. Take this class if u r a math wiz. If not beware.

Dont take Ickerd.He goes way too fast,grade is based only on test averages(5 total)He does not explain very much and is always going off topic.Hell be on one problem and all of a sudden take 15 minutes to show you how to do something else.Its very confusing.I wouldnt reccomend him to my worst enemy!

This was a Spring session and therefore the course was extremely condensed and fast paced. The subject content was presented thoroughly and was easily understood! Tests were fair! I would highly recommend this Professor!

Very fast paced and comprehensive class. Homework was for you own benefit and your whole grade was based on curved tests, with you lowest score dropped. He obviously knows the material he teaches inside and out, and is very helpful if you have questions
