Comment:

Dr. Wood is one of the best professors I have ever taken in my life. He puts in more work than you by making his lectures available online and is always available to help. He grades tough and the tests are difficult, but he wants you to know the material. If you have problems in the class, talk to him. Truly a great individual and role model.

Comment:

No tests and very few assignments. Just pay attention in class and read over the nightly things he posts on asulearn and you'll know everything that you need. Only assignment that required a lot was the midterm research paper, but that's it. Not the most exciting class but Dave's cool and brings lots of guest speaker/performances.

Comment:

I really enjoyed Dr. Wood. He is very down to earth and has a great personality. There are three exams (mid-term, mid-term, comprehensive final), weekly online quizzes for each chapter, which aren't bad and he gives a lot of extra credit throughout the semester (guest speakers, RMI events, etc.). Material can be overwhelming so don't get behind.

Comment:

DW is an EXCELLENT teacher. There is a lot of material and he expects a lot from you, but honestly it's refreshing from the teachers that don't expect anything. Go to class, pay attention, read the book, watch the video's, ask questions and you will do well. If you show him that you care he will go above and beyond to help you learn.

Comment:

Took him for Commerical; studying for Final right now. First test average was a 50 for the class; and i got a 71. So i feel kinda lucky. 2nd test average was higher; about a 76 and i got a 71 again so not as good. Final is cumulative and i kindan think he may curve the end grade but we will see. I some what feel like he may have to.

Great guy! Probably the hardest tests Ive taken at ASU. It is pretty impossible to know everything on his exams and have a life, so study hard!There is a cummulative final, its brutal but he is a great guy.

Tough for Personal Property Liability. Really interesting guy. Be prepared for a quiz nearly every class period. Very enjoyable class with the examples he uses. Fun guy over all.

He's a good, fun guy, but he is quite tough. RM starts out easy, but gets really hard at the end, so be prepared. His commercial class is extremely difficult, but if you stay on top of the readings, you'll do fine.

Awful teacher. He knows what he is talking about but is unclear when he speaks. Quiz and test questions are so unclear that they can be interpreted different ways. Hates to be called out for being wrong but is wrong most of the time.

Wood trys man, and is a pretty good guy outside of class. But man, has a tough time getting things strait during his lectures, and those online quizzes are pretty beast. There will be a curve at the end of the semester
