Comment:

Dr. Ratterman is a very sincere, caring lady. She is really passionate about biology. Consequently, she'll spend half of lab time talking about something that could be condensed into 15 minutes. Lab usually runs til the end. Usually won't get out early. That said she's helpful and knowledgable and gives good feedback on lab reports.

Comment:

Hardest lab I've ever taken. This class is averaged into your lecture grade, and honestly, it brought my grade down. She is tough, and doesn't explain things well. I was knowledgeable with regards to the information, but that didn't mean much. The TA in my class helped me more this semester than the professor. If you can, try to take someone else.

Lab is hard. Lab is long. You're not getting out early, and that's mostly due to the length of experiments - not Dr. R herself. Extremely helpful - I strongly recommend seeing her with reports. She'll help you tremendously and gives great feedback. She'll rip your labs apart so you really understand how to write one. Practicals are reasonable, too.

The hardest grader you will ever have. Keeps lab the entire time because she lectures about nothing for over an hour. Expects her students to remember everything she says. Isn't very professional but she is very passionate about her work

This women is actually out of her mind. She lectures for 1 1/2 before the lab (yes, you'll be there ENTIRE time). If that isn't enough, she'll fail you on your 8 page lab report if you don't go visit her before you hand it in--like we have the extra time! Did I mention she lives in Lafarge? Raincoat's pretty trendy; needs rainboots to match.

My favorite professor in the department. She is fun and smart and provoked this non-bio major to actually care about the subject (somewhat...hahaha). Great prof and I will take her again if I ever need a bio course, definitely.
