Professor McDonagh is easily my favorite professor at NHCC. She is so nice and very funny. She cares about your progress in the class more than the grade. She really cares about you learning and doing your best. I can't wait to take more classes with her in the future.

Diane is one of the best teachers I have ever had. She is hilarious and tells stories during class that has everyone laughing. She allows you to miss 4 days of classes unexcused. We do lots of fun games. Her story is inspiring and overall she is just an incredible person, HIGHLY recommend taking her class.

Diane is funny, caring, and inspiring. I always have fun coming to her class. I have learned a lot from her. She also an easy grader. She cares about what you have learn in class, not the grade. Highly recommended.

She is an amazing professor! She is super funny! I took the evening asl 1 class, tests every other Thursday. Class was always fun! She is very clear about expectations and deadlines, do not use your phone during class.

Diane is an amazing Professor. The ASL classes 1 & 2 were fun to take during summer. I love her story telling, and she really cares about her students. Quizzes every week, but not hard. I got an A in both classes. I can't wait to take ASL 3 & 4. If you take her you will not regret it.

I had Diane as a teacher from ASL 1 to ASL 4 and she is the best! She tells stories in class and uses them to help you remember signs. It's never a boring day in class. With Diane's new book, it's so much easier now to reference signs. Just make sure to set aside a time to study for these tests (practice!). Have fun learning, Diane is great! 3

Diane is an amazing teacher and her sign language classes are so much fun! She tells stories and encourages everyone to share and talk as much as they can. I highly recommend taking any of her ASL classes!

Diane is an amazing sign language teacher. She covers both English and ASL signing sentences. There are many opportunities in class to practice signing. She also lets you know multiple signs for the same word and their common region. Definitely take it, even if you don't think you'll be able to sign.

FANTASTIC TEACHER! She has so much life experience and teaches more than just sign language. She is truly inspirational. Pay attention in class, have a desire to learn, and the ability to memorize the signs and a good grade is attainable.

Amazing & Inspirational Sign Language it self is challenging, but her stories are funny and helpful. As long as you have a true desire to learn ASL then just stay clam and remain focused during her class and you will do fine.

Love love love Diane! I took all her classes at NHCC. Now I'm enrolled in St. Paul College's interpreting program because she inspired me. She also helps me with my homework from there. She is always willing to help and make time. I also go to the U of M, but Diane is still the greatest teacher I ever had! Muah, much love!
