Mr. Rushi is really nice professor he takes his time teaching the material. He's clear and sometimes make jokes. I would take him again. We had homework but it was not collected.

Comment:

With what he is given because of the math department, Professor Rushi does a pretty solid job. He clearly explains all the steps in solving a problem, and answers any questions from the homework. Sometimes he uses the homework problems as examples so you do less at home. Big thing, he is very slow during lecture so they do get boring.

There are 3 tests and 1 final exam in this class. Every week have one or two quizzes. I do not think he is a good teacher, I WOULD NOT TAKE THIS PROF AGAIN!

He just writes problems on the board and solves them for himself, never clearly explains what he is doing and when students ask him questions he gets mad and annoyed at them.

Nice professor, but if you are lost then you are on your own! It is recommended that you do the work he tells you to do. It isn't mandatory, but believe me if you don't do it then you will be lost! He does not review much in class because you are expected to do it. That's not to say that he doesn't go over some Qs, but they had to be HW ones

I loved having professor Rushi, he really takes his time to explain the chapter and doesn't jump right into it. He makes jokes from time to time so just nod and smile. His quizes are easy and some of them are take home.

Class gets boring after a while, to be honest. It is college algebra so I mean... it's nothing too complicated. He takes waaaaay too long to go over a question. So usually most of the studying should be on your own and then if you have a question, ask when appropriate in lecture (as expected). Just stay with it and it's an easy A.

Rushi is okay. HW isn't mandatory but if you want to pass then you need to do it. He doesn't really answer your questions, just go to tutoring if you really need help or office hours. If you pay attention you should be find, he moves slow which is good for those who aren't good in math or just need one step at a time. Takes notes,you'll need them.

Rushi is an overall great teacher. He is foreign but his accent is very easy to understand so don't let the name scare you away. He assigns homework problems after every class but doesn't check them I usually end up doing them to help with the weekly quizzes. Test and quiz questions come from homework and quizzes. Overall great teach and class.

Although he has an accent, you can definitely understand him clearly. During his office hours he's extremely helpful! He works out any problems you have. The quizzes are super easy. Tests are hard, but he doesnt make the tests so thats probably why. People who are bashing him prob never go to office hours or leave class after they sign in.

Professor Rushi is very difficult to understand and talks to the board the entire time. He doesn't engage the students and it seems like he's just writing on the board and waiting for class to end while talking to himself about math. If you ask for help he gets very annoyed. I had to drop this class because I wasn't learning anything.

although his english is not the best you can still understand him. He always wants to make sure you pass the tests and will tell you the best to his knowledge what you will be tested on. One of the better math professors i have had. He is a good guy and is not out to get you.

His English is horrible and his teaching skills are non existent. He gets angry when asked questions and gives no help at all. I did great on quizzes and practice exams, took the best notes, studied my butt off for tests and failed. He should be fired

I would not suggest Professor Rushi. I failed this math class. Math was already a difficult subject for me and his teaching style did not help. I know of another student who also failed this class. He's not too great at explaining and the tests are difficult. He takes attendance everyday also so make sure you show up. Oh and you will need the texts

He was such a helpful teacher. He explained everything in great detail. When he does notes in class, he always reviews what we learned the class before. Overall a very great, helpful professor.

This professor is an all around good teacher that I would recommend. However, ask a question in class and he will probably not give you the response you want, he can get kinda rude. Very quick to response to e-mails. BUT BEWARE. If you're taking college algebra with him the quizzes are extremely EASY and the tests are NOT. Remember that!!

Comment:

He was a nice guy, cracking cheesy jokes, while sticking to the same layout of class every time, which was a bit boring. His quizzes and tests require a decent amount of practice before taking, and are graded carefully. He takes math seriously and wants you to as well. He wasn't the greatest teacher ever, but good for a math teacher.
