Just make sure you participate and she'll love you! Bring up different foods you've tried and anything about France and you'll be on her good side! She really isn't that difficult of a teacher besides the fact that her work is tedious. She just likes to see your interest in the topics discussed.

DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS. I cannot emphasize enough that, even after coming from the best high school in my state and taking ALL honors level classes along with two college courses and APs, I was NOT ready for this woman, and you probably won't be either. Ridiculously unclear, changes the rules every five seconds, assigns FAR too much work

Her class was not that bad as to what everyone is saying. As long as you participate, do what you are asked of, and engage in classgroup discussions, you WILL pass with flying colors! The material is not hard. But, you are required to do MANY group activities and chapter discussions called "fishbowl." Not always interesting but definitely easy A!

This professor was the worst. NOTHING she said was clear. All the assignments were confusing and nothing was explained. There was a whole bunch of "fishbowl" assignments which were annoying. There were also about three mandatory trips to go on. This class was annoying as hell. I recommend not taking her at all.

Diane is a sweetheart. She isn't a bad professor, but she makes you do a ton of group work, makes you go on long and dull trips, and often has this strange cookie-cutter assignment schedule where you feel as if she wasn't sure she was giving class work until 10 minutes before class. She is generally helpful, but she's a very tough grader.

DNY is supposed to be one of your easier classes but she definitely makes you work really hard just to get a B. Tough grader on things that should be simple. Not clear in anything she says. "fish bowl" group work. Definitely would not recommend her, go find an easier teacher.

I liked the professor! I got easy A. Yes, she gives many homework and presentations but it is easier to get A withy them. Final paper. No exams. In the end she gives one extra credit. You just need to tak to her and show that you are interested. Also, she likes to listen to your own opinion on different things.

She is a sweet lady, but a terrible professor. Totally unable to keep track of what she taught in the previous class and what she plans on teaching in the future. Very biased, very weird. If you are ever stuck with her, mention your love of French language and culture.

The course itself is unbearable, she just makes it worse. She's nice, but gives too much work for a bs class. She tries to connect everything we do to languages which just gets on your nerves. Its basically a writing class with a loose New York subtext. I always left the class annoyed. Avoid if possible.

She SUCKS! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! She gives stupid assignments and always checks them. She doesn't answer emails or actually help you with your problems in the class. to many stupid trips on saturday and they take ALL DAY!

Wonderful woman. She grades fairly. Incredibly knowledgeable in French language and culture. I love this woman. She made me feel very comfortable with my knowledge level and really made me enjoy grammar again. Only complaint is that she experimented with a lot of group projects. Could be a good ting for some people, but I didn't like it much.

Isn't a fair grader at all! No one in my class got above a B on the midterm paper. She gives way to many trips, and has little to no consideration for people's time; trips were on saturdays too! She never goes over or explains her assignments, and she's super boring. Avoid if you can. Drops your grade for participation too

She's nice, very nice, but her class is boring. She speaks low and assignments are really that serious. She asks us when we want them due. 1 paper had to be edited about 3-4 times and was considered a midterm. Easy class tho. Show interest in FRENCH and you'll pass.
