She does play favorites, but I was a favorite :D I sat up front and ran the timer for speeches. I also took her advice and used it. She can get rather bipolar at times, but she's so nice. I wish I could have another class with her.

I took a public speaking class from Prof. Wood and I was shocked by how much she plays favorites. I am a hard working student and I did my best in the class, but that didn't seem to matter. She's definitely unkind to slackers, but she can also be unfair to students who work hard and do what's required of them. The class was not a pleasant experienc

Wonderful instructor. Very helpful if you come to class and do the work. Very nice. There's a vocabulary quiz every morning and essays written with those words due as well. I didn't particularly like the report on the author, but probably because I didn't get to choose them. A great person!

She is a good teacher. She can be a little mean to people who don't pay attention or participate but, what's wrong with that. Don't be a slacker and you'll do fine. The final ethnography paper is a little tricky but, a really fun final paper if you can believe that.

I was a running start student and was warned about her but hey, she loved me. She hates slackers and is really mean to them so don't be a slacker or you'll get an earfull. If she likes you she'll treat you like gold. I only had her for one class but she remembered my name for a year and said hi.

I had her for Speech and I thought she was great. Rumors say she doesn't like Running Start students. If you are in Running Start, I've heard that as long as you show her that you're responsible and work hard, then you're ok.
