Dr. Karcher is a nice guy, but I didn't really enjoy his class. The tests are easy if you follow the study guides. Too much work for an intro class. You have a ton of reading assignments, a book report, and a group research project! You have to work for a good grade. I got an A.

He's a good teacher but it was way too much for an introductory class. He wasn't clear on anything, and he made things harder than they had to be. The best way to study for his tests is to follow his online studyguides, his lectures won't help you any.

Dr. K. is bright and articulate. He really makes you think about things even if you disagree with him. He always comes to class prepared and in an upbeat mood. His grading is fair and his tests are not bad, but you have to study. My only criticism - He can be too open with his political views.

I was very excited about taking his class until I got in it. Iwasn't a very good teacher and all our work was done on web ct, which hardly ever worked properly. The test were unbelievably hard and the study guides were no help at all.
