She is an excellent professor.! Easy A. it's a lot of course work so don't fall behind. All the assignments will be on McGraw Hill Connect. There was 14 chapters, 14 quizzes, 9 discussions, 3 exams, and one final exam (optional).

Literally the best professor I've had so far in my college career. Definitely recommend taking in person. Lectures were incredibly engaging with her hilarious sense of humor and you can tell she loves and is invested in what she does. The course was not hard at all if you simply do the very manageable amount of work assigned. 10/10 recommend.

I love how the course was outlined. She had everything set up in a way that was clear to understand. It was clear when things were due, how the grading and final grades would be set up, and her lectures were also quite helpful. Overall very great professor, will definitely recommend!

Comment:

Took this as an elective online and was super easy. Just keep up with the homework, quizzes, and discussions! It can seem like a lot right when you get into the course, but it's really not. Tests are quite simple as well. Take her for sure!

Took the online class. Super organized. Keep up with deadlines - weekly quizzes and discussions, but nothing too heavy. You can even work ahead if you would like. Gives extra credit if you complete all quizzes and discussions.

Great online class!! Every week smart book is due + a short 12min quiz (2 tries). There are also discussions every few weeks. Not too much work- easy to get an A if you keep on top of deadlines. Super organized chapters + quizzes aren't too bad exp with re take. I didn't listen to the lectures but did fine. Also gives articles relevant to reading.

Great professor, enjoyed her lectures. Exams very hard! Must read the book but even though you do questions worded where you wonder if it was in the book. Gives scenarios/scientific studies, results as questions & you have to really read. Gives tons of extra credit AND you get two chances every quiz. Discussions are good final is optional.

I'm taking Richman's class online and it is extremely organized and easy to follow. Just listen to the lecture, read the chapter, and take the quiz. Sometimes there are discussion posts, but not every week. I really love how she makes the lectures interesting to listen to. They are never boring.

Richman was OK. Her tests were incredibly hard for a summer course. The answers were out of the book but the questions were so difficult (especially if you didn't really read the book...) Gives EC which was helpful. 1-2 discussion boards per week but those weren't too bad. Quizzes kind of help on the tests. Hard class. Wouldn't recommend.

I took this course during the summer, so the work was jam-packed. She lays everything out for you, offers tons of extra credit, can take quizzes multiple times, she wants her students to pass. But for a summer course, it was a lot of work in a little time. Book is a must, everything's based off it. She's a really nice lady and knows her subject.

Very organized. Follow the instructions, read the book, listen to her lectures, take the quizzes, do the discussion boards and be prepared for the test and there is no way that you can fail this class. She puts everything in front of you...all you have to do is follow the instructions! I will definitely take her again!

Most interesting class I've taken in a long time. I loved this course! Textbook was so well written and easy to read because it was so engaging. Lots of reading in this course but she gives you 3 attempts for quizzes. Easy A if you read the chapters.

LOVED this professor! The book and discussions were interesting and easy! The quizzes are really easy and you get multiple attempts. The three exams are easy as long as you've read the material and some are common sense answers. Id love to take her again!!

Women Psych online was fairly easy as long as you read the txt and complete the work. Weekly quiz, 3 exams, and some discussions. Many of her test/quiz questions were flawed or did not have the right answer, would not answer my emails to correct my grade,emailed her 12 times. Would of had a high A if she would of corrected my grade for her mistakes

Online. Good instructor. I did the work, got an A. She tells you exactly what she wants. 3 tests, open book, timed. You still need to study her power points and highlight the info in your text. Easy discussion board topics. Media Portfolio for extra credit- was very simple!

Dr. Richman is a very nice professor. She gives 3 tests (which for me were online). They aren't super easy, but if you do practice quizzes and read the book, you will be good. She also gives discussions which are just used to boost your grade. I highly suggest taking her class.

She's very funny and down to earth. I learned a lot in her class. She even brought her dog Daisy to class once! The grading is based on 3 test that are VERY hard, you must read the book and listen to examples in class. She gives a few opportunities for extra credit. Overall enjoyed her class.
