2nd Class I have had with Dr. Eleazer. He is still the same loveable goofball that I had for 102 this past spring. 3 exams ((5) definitions and (3) 2-paragraph essay prompts), reading quizzes almost every class period ((5) short answer questions), an oral report, and 3 essays (no websites allowed). It can be rough but Dr. Eleazer cares. Take him!!

I like Dr. Eleazer. Not always a fan of his teaching style but a very good professor. Not an "easy A" but read and do the work and you will pass with flying colors. After you write your rough draft and start to rewrite your final send him another copy and he will tell you exactly what to fix. Not sure if I will take him for 250 but he is still good

Dr. Eleazer is AMAZING! By far my favorite professor at FMU. He is a little on the crazy side, but it's a good crazy. His lectures and assignments are interesting so you don't mind doing them. Take Eleazer every chance you get! Amazing professor who genuinely cares about his students! Earned an A in all three of his classes I've taken! He rocks!

The tests are mainly writing papers, but he gives you plenty of time. The only downfall is every now and then he will want 100 pages read for a quiz. But definitely a doable class. I would take him again. Just a little effort and easy A or B class. Expect homework every week.

His class is really easy. He has you turn in a rough draft of every essay that you write and gives it back with comments of things to fix before you turn in the final. Also, he's always willing to give you extra help.

Dr. Eleazer is awesome. He says it is good to be confused because we are here to learn, not to know everything beforehand. If you have questions, he will help point you in the right direction. Barely need textbook, says they are scams. Wants students to succeed. Whole point added to final if you do not miss.

I loved taking Dr. Eleazer! He's very helpful and funny! He doesn't believe in purposely making you fail. He provided all the readings on Blackboard so we didn't have to buy a book! Textbooks are SCAMS he says! lol Just do the Readings and you'll be fine! I would love to take him again in the future!

I love Dr. Eleazer! I've made A's in all of his classes. I was terrified of taking grammar, but he made it fun and enjoyable. He's very helpful, too. Don't be afraid, take him if you have the opportunity! If anyone has anything bad to say, it's probably because they didn't take the assignments or the class seriously!

My favorite professor at FMU, after Dr. Johnson. Dr. E is AMAZING. He's one of the nicest, most interesting, most intelligent people I've ever met. He expects a lot but grades fairly and will do anything to help you. He even offered to bail us out of jail, if we need it. He keeps class interesting, and his jokes and quirks make his class worthwhile

Dr. Eleazer is the best English Professor at FMU!! His class is not easy, but he will prepare you for upper level classes. He does not give very many A's but if you work hard and do the work, you should earn a good grade. You have to be willing to work. If you like funny Professor's, his jokes and stories are hilarious!!

This professor is very helpful. He is usually available to help you after class and responds to emails fairly quickly. However, he is very egotistical and sarcastic. If you can get past that, you will do fine. Attendance is important. Come to class and take notes because throughout the semester, he will let you know what will be on the final.

I had Dr Eleazer back in the late 80s and he still continues to be the greatest teacher I have ever had. A great intellect, wonderful, witty and clever professor, and good person. Surely one of the most important and influential people I have ever met. I recommend him to everyone, but know that you will be challenged--and will therefore learn.

I don't know what the problem is with some of you folks. Dr. Eleazer was was favorite professor at Francis Marion, and my degree is in Economics. His classes were entertaining and he has a real passion for his work. He even had a study group at his house for us. Perhaps some of you don't belong in college.
