Dr. Bell is the man. He is extremely intelligent, he KNOWS all the incredibly complex and confusing content you have to sift through, he's very well organized, flexible/reasonable, and knows how to lay out the info for the student to understand. His Ph.D in SLA definitely shows. Fun, happy, easy to be around, and you'll learn everything you need.

Prof. spoke English more than Spanish in class which is not too helpful if you are trying to learn a different language! I ended up taking Spanish from a different prof. due to Bell's questionable teaching methods.

gotta love dr. bell. i really enjoyed his phoenetics class; not the most fascinating topic in the world but very useful. dr. bell is very friendly and very willing to help out wherever needed. he's also pretty fun to talk to about non-related topics.

I really like Dr. Bell. His class isn't easy, but it's not TERRIBLY hard either. (As long as you keep up with the online activities you'll be all set.) He's kind of goofy, but he's a lot of fun too. He's pretty good at explaining things, for the most part.
