I failed the first test by an extremely low grade and it was calculated in the end with my B's n A's.C's which I received on 2 quizzes and I still received a D for the semester. I attended class every day and always asked what I should study in advance.

The tests were difficult especially the very first one. The quizzes were easy. You really had to constantly study as if this were your only class. I should have received a C but instead got a D all because of the first test. If you do take this prof study, study and study. Good luck.

Professor Gillet was a great professor. He was very helpful and explanatory on what he wanted. He would give us all the questions for the test and would review with us on what he wanted They were alot of notes but those notes were helpful in preparing for the exams. Excellent teacher. You can pass this class as long as you study hard!

YOU NEED TO GO TO EVERY SINGLE CLASS! I cannot stress that enough. I was an A student and I received a D in his class. Be prepared to take at least 4-5 pages of notes and be very detailed for essay tests. What he writes on the board is basically what he wants to see on the test. Don't take this class if you're a slacker/don't have time.

Be prepared to write everything he puts on the board and note where he says you need to know. Study your notes. Interacts w/students, encourages questions, good sense of humor as well. If you miss class or are late get notes from a classmate. He expects alot out of his students and will guide and lead them so through if you ask. Very supportive.

Professor Gillet was awesome. I really don't like history, but he made it interesting and easy. He may give alot of note, but he gives you all of the test questions for the test and he is a very fair grader. If I could take him again I would. I definately recommend him. You will not be disappointed.

Great professor. He does give alot of notes and the tests can be difficult, but all the information is given in the notes that he gives and he gives you the questions that are on the test, it is up to you if you study them. Study, attend class, and take good notes and you will have no problem in his class.

Best World Civ. professor there at CCC. His lectures are excellent. He loves history and convey it to his student in such a manner. Everything he reviews before the test will definitely be on the test. You must come to class on a regular basis in order to not to miss any lecturer or find a classmate to get their notes.

Had Prof. Gillet for two classes and didn't do too well in either. Lectures all class and gives way too many notes per class. Tests cover way too much information. But he knows what he is teaching about.
