Comment:
Mr. Kardell is really passionate about law, and he really wants his students to learn. I felt like i learned more in this course than I have in any of my other classes. It can come across as a tough class, but if you show up to class, take good notes, and ask for clarification, you'll have no problem. Great class!

Comment:
Kardell is a little rude about how easy the concepts were to retain and understand. His lectures are boring and information packed. The course is incredibly hard, and NOT for people wanting to start a business, it is a pre law class. He says right away that A grades are rare in his class. I will never take his classes again.

He's a lawyer of 40 years who treats his students that just want a business degree like they are law students. You can't read his handwriting when he gives feedback on tests and homework. No matter how I answer his test questions, he always says that I'm not answering the given question. He asks questions to people like they are witnesses on trial.

I am an AB student with a grade point average of over 3.5. I have taken tough classes before, but this guy really takes the cake. I was in every class and listened to everything he said. On the tests I would put down what he said in class and he would say it was wrong. By the time I dropped over 50% of the students had dropped his class. Don't Take

Mainly a lecture type environment. If you read the assigned chapters and show up to class prepared you will greatly benefit. After all it is your education, so come prepared. With his experience you are getting an excellent education at a highly discounted price.

One of my favorite prof's at RVC. He is extremely intelligent and knows the information inside and out. Tests are all essay, but are easy memorization. I really liked how the class was organized with the packets he provides for the whole semester. Great sense of humor, very down to earth. Study the notes and pay attention and it is a great class.

very knowledgable and dry. We did not have class for 2 weeks and he held class on a different night that I could not attend. He did not return my numerous calls to get the materials needed for a test (most of material was not in the text book).

VERY nice man, but a bit dry when lecturing. It's true, all of the tests are essay format, but it's pretty much rote memorization, so just prepared to read and know the different terms, elements, etd. He's very willing to help, pretty accessible, and provides fill-in-the-blank study guide for which he pretty much provides all the answers.

Good teacher, great guy. Tests are strictly essay format, so if you don't like a lot of writing on tests, don't take this class.

He is a strict teacher and his tests are essay, but he goes the extra mile in grading. Lecture topics are dry but he really tries to involve the class and make it enjoyable. His class has helped me legally in more than one instance. Just read the book.
