He rants a lot and it takes up a lot of class time. He can be rude at times, but when he actually teaches you, you learn something. I wouldnt take him unless you dont mind listening to him or dead silence for hours.

Really good teacher. He is extremely talented and gives a lot of good advice. However, he is a tough grader, and doesn't always correct you on your mistakes, so listen to his teachings. He'll have a lot to say about the art industry, and it isn't always motivational and happy, but listen to it all!

I had him for Drawing I & II. He is a great teacher who is passionate about art, which means he takes it very seriously. First week of class we had to draw a self portrait then at the end of the semester we did it again. It was amazing seeing the progress everyone made in such a short time. He assigned a book, but I didn't even open it.

One of the more serious professors I've had, but I love him. If he sees you're working outside of class he will like you. He takes attendance every class period and assigns a lot of essays. He is extremely talented and an excellent professor. He does talk a lot and sometimes goes off on rabbit trails, but they're always interesting

He is a very good teacher, strict on attendence but makes class time fun. Do the work, show up and you will pass. Listen to his advice and you will improve immensely. Had him for Drawing 1 and Intro to painting, will continue to take him in as many classes as possible. Only outside assignments are 3 essays each semester where you carry onto 3rd pg
