Dr. T is an amazing professor. She is kind, caring and intellegent. She expects you to learn the material. You must work for your grade, as you should in all of your courses. She will go out of her way to help you. Her lectures are entertaining and informative. The only time I've ever seen her upset was in response to a rude student. Great proffess

Dr. T. is a great professor! Somewhat spacy at times, but it adds humor! Very helpful, very sweet, very interested in what she is talking about. Isn't like some professors that make you turn in your assignment right on time..allows you the day to turn it in. Mid-term was fair-not insanely difficult. Don't worry about this class! Makes it worthwhile

This teacher must've done a complete 180 since the previous ratings. I was wary of taking the class b/c of the ratings on here, but it turned out to be a good teacher and a good class. Lectures are interesting, and tests are pretty easy as long as you come to class and read the book. Only homework is writing one paper and preparing for a debate.

Families in Crisis was so interesting--my favorite class of the semester! The class was a lot of work, but if you are interested in topics like stress, poverty, and drug abuse, you'll have a great time. Watched several good videos and had great guest speakers. The major paper takes some time to complete, but you work on it all semester. Nice prof!

This teacher is weird but is nice. She does talk about nothing and reads right off her slides. She posts everyting on WebCT. She tries but tries too hard. She isn't embarrased to talk about anything in front of a big group of students. Her microphone was a joke. The notes are fill in the blank so read them and the chapter review to get an A.

Sheis so wrapped up in her research projects that she just gives you alot of busy work to do. I am so disappointed in this class. i was hoping to learn, but there is so much to do that it is impossible to relax and enjoy the class and learn. DO NOT TAKE IF AT ALL POSSIBLE!!!

Quit making us do busy work...it's annoying. Also, by separating the papers and debates it gets in the way of other big tests and papers so its not easier for us like you said.
