Comment:

By far the best English teacher I've ever had. She's so open and accepting which made it easy to participate in the class. Really knows what's she's talking about when it comes to writing so don't blow off her comments at the end of essays. Take her if you can!

Dr. Haunton focuses the class on writing about personal growth/memories. She likes a lot of voice and scene development. The class was not taxing at all - we had an analysis due everyday, but she was not strict about lateness. There was a total of four portfolios due throughout the semester. After an AP class in high school, it was relaxing.

AMAZING doesn't even begin to describe her!! She's stylish, fun, and very smart. She really wants her students to do well and cares about you more than just in the classroom. You write a new paper almost everyday but they are super easy and taking her class is worth it. She is the only class I don't have an A in but I wouldn't take any other.

Greatest Eng teacher ever! Sweet and funny! Daily assignments and four essay projects. Extremely easy! She wants people to open up and will know you personally. I would definitely recommend her! If you want a fun teacher, take her!

She is amazing! TAKE HER IF YOU CAN!! she really cares about all of her students, always will meet with you outside of class, and lets you write on personal experiences. one of my favorite professors, by far!

She is one of the nicest profs! Your opinion always counts and you're almost never wrong. She takes you through the writing process slowly and is always willing to help. All of the essay's I wrote were on personal experiences, nothing hard. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Haunton is one of the nicest ladies I've ever met. You have 5 writing portfolios to do throught the semester but an optional final that doesnt factor into your grade. Class is fun and easy...take Haunton

Nice lady who honestly cares about her students. I took her class, and the fifty minutes absolutely flew by with readings and discussions. She let us out early on a fairly regular basis as well.

She is a great teacher. She pushes her student to open up and try different writing styles. Attendence is manditory for a grade, but she teaches so much in one class it would stink to miss one. If you have the chance, take Haunton!

She is an extremely good teacher. She is demanding but at the same time is such a good teacher that you know what to do. She is very nice and caring and wants to help you become a better writer. She has helped me become a much much better writer. I would take her if you have the chance.

She is a very enthusiastic teacher and greatly enjoys her occupation. She is, however, very unclear with what exactly she wants with writings. Her comments are sometimes puzzling. She says that Cs are a good thing in her class. Take her if you are extremely confident in your writing.

Gladys is a beautiful person with a passion for writing, and one of the sweetest ladies on campus. She jumps right in with the students and does free-writing alongside them. If you have the opportunity to take her, I would not pass it up.
