Professor Allen is the best professor I ever met at Rutgers. She is so caring and spent a lot of time on how to make your paper better and gives you so much feedback. She always listens to what you said and gives out the advice, and you don't have to be stressed out. I enjoy her class, and you can always find a lot of new ideas during the course.

She is one of the nicest professors at Rutgers. Her focus is on all students and makes sure everyone is doing well and understanding. Her office hours are extremely helpful also works on the weekend. She understands your essay and your point of view and points out mistakes and gives good feedback. Free cookies and amazing class. Best prof!!

Absolutely hands down, the best professor I have had at Rutgers so far! She is truly helpful and goes out of her way to help you if you need extra help on the essays during office hours. She is funny, caring, and super nice. She made me laugh every class in some way and I actually looked forward to going!

Professor Allen is truly the best Professor for expos. She puts the time to help you succeed, so if you go to her office hours and do the readings you should be fine. Shes a really fun person so youll definitely have a great time in class!! Take expos with her!!!

Really wants you to do well not just in the class but in all your writing. Will give you great feedback on your papers and will let you know what grammar mistakes you need to fix and tell you where to look. Will have very helpful in class discussions and office hours. Go to the office hours for analysis of your ideas it's a big help.

Professor Allen makes writing enjoyable and the readings are very interesting. Make sure you read and come up with interesting and original ideas. Office hours are very helpful; she is always willing to help. Professor Allen is very nice and genuinely cares about her students. As long as you put in the effort, you will pass the course.

When I took her, it was my second time taking Expos and she made the experience so much easier for me. Expos is already a hard class and I'm a horrid writer, but the essay questions were straight forward and she's very helpful. Go to office hours and ask questions and she'll be more than happy to help you!

One of the best decisions I made in my life is choosing to take Basic Composition AND expos with Professor Allen. She is so understanding and hilarious. On top of that, Professor Allen has good music taste. On a more serious note, as long as you put effort and go to office hours for feedback, you should not have a problem. Prof. Allen is the best!
