Comment:

Took her for 1319 and 1329, and do not regret it! She is an amazing professor, and cares so much about her students. The class is hard, and you do have to work for the grade you want, she is always willing to help her students. 3 exams, 14 quizzes(drops lowest 4), and the final.

Comment:

Betros is an amazing professors. As someone with who struggles with math , I was intimidated but thanks to her instruction methods and techniques, she has made it a blast. Lots of work , but like anyone says , practice makes perfect

Overall a good professor, she makes you work for your grade! You have homework online which helps you comprehend the material on the quizzes we have every other class. If you take very good notes, and attend office hours you will be set. She truly cares about her students succeeding, but it is not an easy course.

Really sweet lady, very respectable. All lectures. Her homework is through an online portal. If you skip class a lot, you will miss a lot of crucial stuff, however, you can teach yourself the criteria because she posts the notes online. If you're good at algebra it's an easy class. If you're not, pay attention in class!

Overall good professor, assignment on connect math are pretty simple and help to comprehend the material. Take good notes and go to her office hours and youll be set! She is very understanding and cares about her students. Replaces lowest test score with final exam score if you have less than 2 absences.

Betros is an amazing teacher who really cares about her students. She works very hard to make sure you understand the subject and is always available during office hours. Highly recommend.

Comment:

She is an AMAZING professor. She explains everything very well and I never left her class too lost. She offers bonus quizzes every so often and those bonus points get added to your final exam grade so go to class even though attendance isn't mandatory. Also there is a lot of homework but you have until the next test to complete it so, do it early.

She takes time in class to explain anything you have trouble with, so don't be afraid to ask. Gives quizzes as extra credit after some lectures that can be done with a group. There is a lot of homework, but it's available all month so just don't procrastinate. Tests are very short so make sure to study!!! She gives reviews and has review sessions

Pros: Kind and patient, accommodating and available outside lectures, Cons: none Tips: reread your notes and practice before each lecture. She hands out quizzes each class and they usually cover the examples from the previous lecture.

This class is definitely not easy, but she's an amazing teacher. She gives partial credit on test and quizzes and sooo much extra credit, so it should be hard to fail her class. 3 test, 14 quizzes (takes highest 10), doesn't grade hw but you should definitely do it, and the final wasn't hard at all. I loved her and would definitely take her again!

The material is by no means, easy. But, as long as you show an effort to learn Professor Betros will make sure she gives you ample instruction if you are struggling or just have a question. If you take the printed out notes she puts on tracs to class and take good notes, youll be golden. Never hesitate to ask for help bc she is always open to help

One of my favorite professors. She only takes grades on tests and weekly quizzes (sometimes the quizzes are group quizzes). assigns homework but doesn't take it for a grade but if you do the homework the quizzes and tests will be easy. really helpful and sweet

SO. MUCH. HOMEWORK. Do not wait last minute to complete because it will take forever. I love math but she made me hate it if I'm being honest. She is very sweet and knows her math, gives great examples, gives extra credit, and there's several tests, about 5 throughout the semester, about 20 Q's. Study guides are useless because they're SO long.

Math is not my greatest subject, but without her I would not have passed! She takes her time in making sure you understand the material. If I had to give two pieces of advice, DO ALL OF THE HOMEWORK AND ATTEND CLASS, I went from an F to a B just by attending class and doing the homework! And studying of course :)

Betros is a very thorough professor and very sweet lady. She is easily accessible outside of class and every lecture is very thorough. The class can be a bit boring at times but the material is easy to understand.

Comment:

Be prepared to work for your grade in this class. There is lots of homework and attending lectures it vital to optimal success. However, during lecture hours she gives extra credit opportunities, re opens all math HWs at the end of the semester to boost connect math grades, and lets the final replace your lowest test. Shes super sweet as well!

Comment:

Class consists of 3 tests, a cumulative exam (DIFFICULT), and homework on ConnectMath. Homework is necessary to learning the material as she isn't always extremely clear and likes to skip steps in class when lecturing. Cares about students. Wants you to pass, but makes you work for it. HARD class, but doable if you apply yourself.

I had her for summer 2 and she was kind of rude. If you are studying to be a teacher the professors have to teach you how to explain the concepts and your reasoning on your answer. So most of the time it was 20% on reasoning and 80% on how to do it which was awful because most of her tests were asking to explain our reasoning. Would not take her
