GREAT professor. He loves what he teaches and makes the lectures a lot more easy going. He is more than willing to answer any questions you may have and also provides excellent review sheets for exams. Follow along with the review sheets and the class will be very easy.

Took this class online and it was extremely easy. He is a super nice professor. I even turned the first assignment in at the end of the semester and still got 90 out of 100. He's very understanding and no final!!

Schrank was my advisor for both my major and during my internship. He is a very helpful man and takes an interest in what his students are doing. He was flexible in allowing me to set my own internship experience, and required little work outside of attending my internship site every day and making thoughtful, yet meaningful observations. He has prepared me well for my field of study.

Best science class ever! Labs were super fun and interesting! Professor is extremely cool, helpful, and knows his topics. He gives out study guides :) which is extremely helpful! There also bonus credits, too. Highly recommended if you are looking for a fun and smart professor at SCSU!

This is the best professor I have ever came across. The Coolest ever. Take this class with him and you will never regret. He makes learning fun and the lab is the easiet part. Just work with your lab partner and you get full credit. You don't have to do any lab reports. Isn't that easy? Great class :)

EASIEST CLASS EVER. It is really kind of a joke. Notes AND recorded lectures get put up online, therefore no reason to waste your time going to class. Gives extra credit. Tests are 60 questions of multiple choice. Pretty easy if you can memorize. Basically just spitting back the book.

schrank is very dedicated and makes diseases and illnesses actually fun to learn about! he gives detailed reviews for each exam, some extra credit opportunities which help you better understand the material, and makes a point to help everyone understand his expectations. i would say this is a pretty easy B to get with work put in, an A is an option

I took this course online, and although it had a lot of work in the 4 units it was very easy to complete the assignments on time, and grading was very fair! Not to mention the helpfulness of the instructor if you had questions! TAKE HIM!

He was a very helpful teacher. Wanted us to be as excited as he was about the subject. But it is hard to be excited about bacteria. Pay attention to what he says is going to be on the test and follow the study guide you can't go wrong. Do your homework and listen its that easy.

This is a great class! He is a little monotone, and he tries to make us laugh, and it's always funny when a monotone person tries to tell a joke. He is really good at what he does, and he knows the material so well, that it's so easy for him to explain it to you in a different way if he needs to.

It's obvious he enjoys the topic, and he knows the material very well. But he makes the class so easy, it is difficult to push yourself. I didn't go to class and I got an A-just studied from the study guides for each exam. Don't take him if you don't have the self discipline to push yourself.

Dr. Schrank is absolutly wonderful! He loves what he does and it shows. He has a wonderful dry sense of humor that made me laugh a lot. Tests are easy *if you study*, lab is easy as well. He LOVES bacterium and wishes to speak with them LOL. Without doubt, take this class, one of the best ever!

This guy is hilarious. He knows kids sleep in his class but he just makes fun of them. It's great! He truly loves what he teaches and you can tell. His passion for the subject makes this a great class! I highly recommend!
