It takes a while to get use to the accent but for the most part I had no issues understanding him. He is extremely funny and always makes jokes in class. We had 4 homework assignments, 3 tests (5 questions max), and a final. He just goes off the PowerPoint slides he puts in canvas. He doesnt grade fast. Most of the class just sat on their phones.

He doesn't speak English very well but I loved him! He is very nice but he often embarrasses people that he thinks ask dumb questions. I made a B or higher on ALL homework assignments. He tells you what homework problems to do but some are long. I personally didn't pay attention in class because I read the book at home and taught myself.

This professor is extremely picky on homework steps. His exams are never more than 4 questions and may include stuff you did not discuss in class. He's not afraid to embarrass you in class when you simply ask a question. He hardly knows English, and it shows greatly in his exam and homework instructions. Good luck. You're going to need it.

Here's the thing I couldn't understand half the things that came out of his mouth due to his accent so I gave up on trying to learn from him and just did the homework during his class instead of listening. he gives regular homework and takes attendance for a grade. The tests are take home, except for part of the final, but they are still difficult.

Took him for a summer course. WARNING: YOU WILL REALLY HAVE TO LISTEN TO UNDERSTAND WHAT HE IS SAYING! We often had him write down what he meant and emailed him for any material we didn't understand. Utilize his office hours and he will help you. Not a bad guy at all, just difficult to understand.

Be prepared to learn the material on your own. By week three, my class time was spent reading a book. Grades very harshly. I often lost H.W. points for extra space between values or other minor mistakes. If you turn your homework in out of order, be prepared to receive a score of 0. Do all the H.W. and pray for take home exams.

Poor guy didn't know how to speak to students in a way they could understand. He was really nice, but he taught straight from the textbook and gave hard homework problems. He graded nicely, and gave my class take home tests. I didn't know a thing on the final. Also, he is really picky about attendance!

Do not take any classes with him unless you can teach yourself through the book outside of class! exams are either in class w/ open notes or are take home but are extremely hard. He flies through material & teaches directly from power point. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS. professors should know english before trying to teach math!

Very helpful if you ask for it. The only problem is some students don't respect him and leave whenever they want, talk, cheat, and skip! He doesn't seem to care. Those of us who attend every class get the same bonus as the boneheads that sign roll and leave.

Speaks differently than most. His assignments are problems out of the book and he gives u like a week to do them, and takes late work. Take home exams are slightly more difficult- internet helps a lot. Have to teach yourself really but an A is manageable if you put little effort in. U can sign roll and leave or come in late and make sure to sign it

He lets you turn in late work and is lenient on grading. Almost all tests were take home exams. And he lets you do test corrections for extra credit. But, he has a heavy accent. You won't understand him the first few days but you get used to it. I'd strongly suggest sitting in the front row because he writes very small on the board.

very hard to understand, nice guy but not a great teacher! He takes late work which is nice and he let's us do hw corrections, the only reason why I have a C. You have to teach yourself and get a tutor if you are taking his class. Stay away if your not good at math

Speaks broken english, but the first two weeks of prob and stats you will understand him. After that the textbook and google are your friend. I was interested in this subject when I started taking the class. Quickly lost interest when he jumped around the board and was barely comprehensible.

I have taken Dr. Wei for College algebra and MAT2100. He is very hard to understand but gives a lot of time to do the homework and accepts late work. Attendace is passed around so normally half the class leaves. His class is easy but you have to use the book to teach yourself. His lectures are really boring and barely lets out early.
