Ms Mclane was a very hard teacher for me to learn from her in my opinion. She goes on with same lesson and less then two weeks you have quiz. She was kind of disrespectful in some ways . She gives you way too much homework and the way she critiques for homework & participation is ridiculous. Definitely, do not recommend taking any of her classes.

I took her summer class, so it was for 12 weeks instead of 16 weeks. She is an amazing teacher just thought 50 vocabulary words bi-weekly was pointless. The final exam wasn't hard I just wouldn't take her class again I passed with a "B"

Really great professor,learned a lot from her and would take her over again. She is easy to listen to and is quick to tell you about yourself, which I love. She really cares and wants her students to pass.

Professor McLane is a hard teacher. She goes on with the lesson and in two weeks you have a quiz. You have to memorize 50 words of vocabulary. She gives tons of homework. I failed her exams. But once I took the reading exit exam I passed. When you pass the exam you will pass the course. Believe me. I didn't do well but I passed the course

Professor McLane, is extremely smart. She has a dry sense of humor which not many may get. She is very knowledgeable and if you fail this class or the last exam you didn't put in the effort period. It's not very hard and she does give you extra credit throughout the course. She is easy going. I am glad I had her. Would recommend.

I love Helen! She's very funny and sarcastic, but she means well. Her class is easy and if you just show up and do your work, literally, it's an A. I wish she did ENC1101

If you don't pass the final exam for this class, regardless if you have an A or a B in grade book, even at least a C for as a minimum to pass for all your classes in general, you will not pass the class. Very sarcastic instructor. Non-caring body language.

So many papers for homework but only grades two to four pages per chapter Four vocab tests with fifty words each Twenty five to thirty five questions on chapter tests She does start giving extra credit towards the middle to end of the term You must do all the online work to keep participation up Participation grade is changed every week

She is a great professor... Quirky too.. :) Keeps you engaged. (I had work requirements and needed to swap class time and she gave no issues and made sure I had everything I needed to do well in her class..)

I rate this teacher poor because she is a very sarcastic person. If you were attending her class, she will express herself as a non-caring teacher. She does not count attendance, only participation, and puts it in late in grade book. My friend and I got same answer on book assignment, which is correct answer, but marked it wrong on my friend's.

Great teacher . would take again. She has a detailed syllabus calendar that outlines and gives due dates. 3 absences which you can make up by going to her other classes . Work seems like a lot at first but its not very time consuming. Gives extra credit . As long as you do the work you will pass . Final exam but no midterm.

She's really nice and I would take her class again! The syllabus is self explanatory. In case you miss the class and miss a test, sometimes she'll allow you to make up for it.

Professor McLane was great! I'm so glad I took her. It's the easiest class I had. She explains everything, you do have to attend the class and do the work but it's so easy! She's helpful and so nice!
