I took this class online during maymester. There were weekly discussions but they aren't all mandatory. You just have to complete four by the end of the semester so you get to pick which ones you want to do. There were tests but they aren't too difficult as long as you study well. There is also a museum artwork project but it isn't hard.

Comment:

I took this online for maymester and Im happy I did. The class was extremely straightforward and not too time consuming either. The professor was readily available and responded to any questions fairly quick. Most of the test answers are in quizlet as well. Buy the book on chegg for $25 and return it within 2 weeks and theres no charge!

I took art1107 as an online maymester and it was extremely easy. Didn't take up much time. Professor DIbble provides helpful powerpoint presentations and gives you lots of options for modules to complete (you pick 4 out of 11)

There was a lot of evaluating and discussion in this class. Probably because it was online, but I averaged reading almost everyone's post and replied to around 5-10 people and received A's and B's. She is a tough grader, but lays her class out really well and is very easy to follow along with. 10/10 recommend get ready to read :)))))

An amazing and inspirational professor. Clear and concise in expectations and assignments. She expects students to act like adults, come to class, and put forth the effort that is required for a BFA. If you can't come to class, a degree in art just isn't for you, regardless of what subject.

Today was the last day of Maymester. She was very helpful, but don't buy the online book/ access code, we never used it. The book maybe helpful for presentations and the final exam. (if you can study from note-taking, the book is not necessary.

Fantastic professor, truly an art genius. She has given me a greater appreciation for art especially Ansel Adams. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable and she can convey her knowledge in terms that can be easily understood. Kinda wish I had taken her for an entire semester. One of my favorite classes ever.

I took this as an 8 a.m maymester. Was relativly enjoyable. Don't buy the textbook unless you really have no conception of what art is.This class is mostly history, and elements of art. It was interesting! 1 "Paper" 1 group presentation (She'll give you an outline)a midterm and final (50 mult. choice q's) simple in class assignments for attendance.

Nice, giggly lady. Attendance is mandatory, but she won't freak on you if you are late/don't show up. But she WILL freak if you weren't there for a lecture and ask her a question about it. Do yourself a favor and ask someone else. Take notes on everything (even where things are located!) because she doesn't really like questions.

Printmaking Queen!!! She is an awesome teacher, although you will have to keep her updated on lingo....she thought "bad ass" meant she was awful but she's cool...really!!! You will learn a lot. She expects creativity and hard work but grades fairly. Overall, my favorite class at KSU!! You won't be sorry to take her just show up to class.

I was mad every day of this class. It was not the professor. She has a great sense of humor and is a fair grader. She puts it out there and averages the numbers. It is just a shame what is classified as "ART". It would have been impossible in the regular semester. I took maysession.

UNFAIR. Attendance: it doesn't matter how good your work is- if you don't show up and stay the whole time she will count it as an absence. However, she plays favorites so if youre on her good side you can get away with whatever and make an A. Complain about your parents getting a divorce and she'll give you an A.
