Tita Ime is one of the most caring professors out of all. She is a little over the place a bit and she gives a handful of worksheets that will still be given online too (idk whats the point of that??). She gives some pop quizzes throughout the lessons. Very easy grader, attend class regularly.

Tita Ime is amazing, if you show up to class and pay attention and participate then you will really grasp the concept of what she is teaching. She is very funny and it's really easy to talk to her!

Im filipino and she makes me lose interest in my own language. NEVER EVER clear about what she wants. Most of the work and participation is online.. So whats the point of being in class? Took level 1 and 2 because she was unfortunately the only prof available.. I wouldn't recommend her to an enemy.

Tita Ime is a wonderful teacher however she does tend to assign a lot of homework. Also if you plan on taking her class don't think you can skip or else you will fall behind. After lessons/units are finished she does give POP QUIZZES so make sure you know your stuff! Overall I enjoyed Tita Ime's class but you really need to work to get a good grade

I took a placement test to see if I could get placed in a higher class. Couldn't get into contact with her ever since. She literally ghosted me after that and I wasted my time and effort taking that placement test only to have her disappear and never return my emails, texts, calls, voicemail and LETTERS. This professor is something else, I swear

I was scared going into this class reading past reviews. But after experiencing it, I feel like Tita Ime is one of the better teachers out there. She gets you to want to learn more about the language and culture, and even if my class had to work hard for the mandatory club activities, it was definitely worth it. Her exams are pretty easy as well.

Yes, Tita Ime gives a lot of hw and is kinda all over the place sometimes, but it's college. If you listen and check your e-mail regularly like you're supposed to, you'll do just fine in the class because you'll know what you're supposed to do. She's a great professor, truly cares about the Filipino culture and you're learning of it.

Just take it. Tita Ime's the toughest Filipino teacher, but she's the best out of all of them. Even if you're just taking it for the language credit and don't care about Filipino, she's good to have. She cares about what you get out of the class and so you get a lot out of it. 10/10 would honestly recommend. You'll love her I promise.

She will help you but I still wouldn't recommend taking her unless u keep up with her multiple work and being unorganized. She announce assignments late and she won't specifically tell you whats for homework. Be aware for pop quiz after every lesson you learn. And prepare for homework assignment/ study guide being sent to you super LAST MINUTE!!

she is by far the worst teacher i have ever had. my 2nd language is tagalog & this class is not hard, but COMPLICATED because she has 0 common sense. she assigns LOTS of HW due the day of EXAMS, she briefly covers a single topic & doesn't talk about it until the test. She expects you to learn a language over night. Its difficult communicating w/her

Tita Ime's great, but she's very unorganized. She's not clear when assignments are due, doesn't update the gradebook so you dont know how youre doing, and uses laulima and google classroom which can be confusing as to where your online homework is due. she gives out packets for almost every lesson and assigns last minute work during finals.

Expect ALOT of homework, usually a packet, or more than one assignment. She is kind of unclear as to what is due and what isn't. Sometimes assignments are posted online without knowing. She gives extra credit, and study guides. tests usually follow study guides, but are still difficult. She gives pop quizzes, but overall she's friendly and helpful

She's really funny and loves grouppartner work. She gives out a lot of homework, but most of them are relatively easy. As long as you come to class you will pass. I would strongly recommend taking this class.

Tita Ime is funny, and if you put your 100% in, you'll learn something from her. However -- she's never clear about when (online!) work is due, assigns a LOT of homework which can be difficult to do when you don't speak the language, and requires a heavy amount of work outside of class in the Filipino club. Would not take again.

Easy fun class. She's very helpful and super nice. However she does give some unnecessary assignments like interviewing a student in a class above yours at a picnic. Class time is always fun and laid back. It's really easy to pass if you show up, participate, and pay attention.

Tita Ime has a very upbeat personality. She is encouraging and helpful. The work is fairly easy and you will learn a lot about the Filipino culture. However, I wouldn't suggest this class for someone who has a busy schedule. This class requires a lot of outside class-time to complete group work, attend club meetings, and attend club events.
