Comment:

Worst I've ever had. Getting help was like pulling teeth and was of little use. Cut and paste generic class structure. It's like he could care less about you or your success in class. Reported him to Dean with limited success. I don't know why he is teaching. Avoid at all costs!

Comment:

This "professor" didn't instruct at all, he just posted assignments and a syllabus and you were on your own. Questions would go unanswered for days, if answered at all, and emails were the same. After over a week I STILL haven't been why I received an F or what grade I received on the final (which was pen&paper writing out programs). STAY AWAY!!

This was an Advanced JavaEE Class. There was no instruction, just read the book and give it your best try. 5 difficult class projects with the only interaction happening when you asked for help. Then the final was writing out the code for problems similar to all 5 projects (but all the details changed) with a pencil, closed book / closed notes!

Comment:

Helpful when you have problems. However, he doesn't give much instruction. You are pretty much just left to read the book and attempt the projects on your own. The only interaction happens when students have problems. Final is mostly essay questions.

Comment:

While learning UNIX material is not the easiest, Professor Jurca and the TA do a good job in responding to student questions. The assignments are clear and the midterm is open book. Should be an easy A if you stay current with the reading and assignments.
