Comment:

This class was the perfect class to get some motivation. I became a very positive person after taking this class. Though we couldnt do in person classes, Professor Rosas took initiative by allowing us to join her zoom meetings to keep up with the work. If Im being honest with you, using zoom went really smooth for me. I would recommend 100%

Comment:

Mrs. Rosas was a great instructor for me. She was caring, understanding and very helpful for me. She made class as fun as possible while learning. This semester was f**ked over by Covid 19 so zoom was & will be a thing until its gone. GO TO CLASS! Trust me it's better for you in the long run. Most of the assignments are self reflection essays.

The course switched to Zoom halfway through the semester due to covid-19. I was fearful of losing access to my professor and classmates, and expected to fall behind; but Professor Rosas made the transition to an online platform very seamless. It was incredibly engaging to have video class and engage in discussions and quick feedback!

I've had the pleasure of taking two classes with Ms. Rosas. Coun10 during the winter was so astonishing, I registered for coun12 for the spring. She is understanding, sincere, and motivating. She has helped me break out of my shell, and I learned a lot about myself. She is a fan of group work. Your voice will be heard. Don't be late!

Very good professor! She's very sweet and understanding. She sometimes gets a little frazzled; meaning, when a lot of kids aren't showing up or turning in necessary work she tries to help out which may sometimes cut into class time. All in all, make sure you do your work and are on time to class and she'll respect you.

I took the class for credit, what can I say the class is an easy A, if you do all the work of course. If you like group work or are very sociable this is the class for you. A lot of the participation in this class is with Groups or out loud, which is fine if you're ok with that.

Professor Rosas is a nice professor, but she will defintely put you on the spot if it seems that you are not paying attention. She will try to embarass you in front of the whole class. Take this class if you need to boost your GPA or else don't waste your time. Tons of group work and sharing out loud in class, so if you are shy be prepared for that

Professor Rosas is a very kind teacher and very helpful with your life. Although if you have her Coun17 class and are introverted, be warned. There will be a lot of class sharing in groups. Class just changed from Pass/Fail to a Letter Grade. So she can grade on participation now. Keep all your work for portfolio at the end of the term

Rosas is very nice and understanding. She really cares about each and every student. The only negative thing that I have to say is that I wish we worked on ourselves more, and didn't focus so much on listening to what other classmates had to say about who they were and what they thought they wanted in life. Ms Rosas was one of my favorite professors at PCC she was always on topic although most of the areas covered in the course are known, yet she is helpful to make us look forward our future and cheer students up. I totally recommend her for first time college students.

Very easy class, although I learned NOTHING! Everything she teaches you, you most likely learned outside of school or with your parents. If you just need credits I guess it's an easy pass, but if you really want something out of counseling I recommend other options. Oh I almost forgot to mention, she'll try to embarrass you quite often.

The class itself is easy but I really recommend anything else. It was a complete waste of my time and I learned nothing. Expect to be treated like a child. She gets upset if you don't show you are putting in effort even if you are doing all the work. She'll probably not pass you if your on her bad side even if you did all the work. Avoid if you can

Mrs. Rosas is one of my favorite teachers.... although she is a career counselor she isnt boring at all.... she's very perky and used to teach kinder so you can just imagine how sweet and easy her class is.... she's also very caring and helpful and will tell you which teachers are good to take... she pretty much knows everything about the college

Class was helpful since it has been 7 years since I was in college last and was scared of going back to school. Class was sometimes boring and a little silly. I think it would be great for students that just graduated high school. Very nice professor though.

Easy! Just do the assignments and turn them in on time. The class overall didn't really help me learn anything new about what i would like to pursue as a career.. but Professor Rosas is enthusiastic and nice! Attendance is crucial!
