Dr. Bergdahl was a good professor. I was nervous to take a statistic class however taking her class took my nerves away. Her exams are a little challenging but you are allowed to use your homework assignments during the exams. Highly recommend!

If you're putting in the effort, she'll notice. Dr. Bergdahl is very helpful, down to earth, and intelligent. She'll point you in the right direction and is very encouraging and interesting.

Comment:

Very nice and understanding. I took her for Race and Ethnicity, and Soc Research. She Shows great films, and had us do Race dialog groups which was great. Her lectures for soc research flowed better because that has been her most taught class and she is most comfortable with it. Very intelligent and sweet. Work is definitely attainable.

Statistics was very scary for me but after my first class I was not frightened. She gives out a bit of homework but it helps you out later because you can use it them when you take the tests. Word of advice, write your notes on the tests too after they've been graded, it will help you out a lot. ^.^

Dr. Bergdahl is AWESOME! She makes a harder subject seem easy. Going to class is a good idea because she breaks down the problems step by step, and the take-home exams are basically the problems from class with different numbers. GREAT teacher, Great person. LOVED her.

This class was really iritating and a HUGE waste of time! 80% of the class is spent on people giving presetations, and the info presented isn't on the tests at all! She is very unorganized, and does not present the material for the test well at all! I tried to ask her about a few questions i got wrong on the test and she almost completly blew me

She admits on the first day that she is notorious for handing out too many A's. In a class full of 50 last year, she insists only 4 received B's and the rest earned A's. This tidbit is misleading. The formulas to calculating stats are complicated. One time, a formula filled an entire board. I'm a straight A student who barely earned a "B" in here.

Class easy in the beginning, then got progressively more difficult. NOT a liberal grader. Class time is usually wasted on busywork, or watching her read from her powerpoint about the chapter. She's a friendly person, but this class is boring. Said she gives out many "A's" as final grades, but most of the class earned in the B/C/D range.

Bergdahl is so boring. She has to read from a packet while doing power point, and sometimes she'll just pause for 3-4 minutes. I was really looking forward to this class (raceðnicity), but I'm really disappointed. Super easy, though.
