He is a good professor and he does care about the students who show up, but this class is not as easy as it sounds. The exams are decently tough so make sure you take this class serious and you will be fine. He kinda talks in circles so he never really gets his point across.

This class was easy! Just make sure to do all of the homework and dont wait until the last minute to do everything. Jamal is funny and I honestly didnt dread going to this 8am like I have others in the past.

Everything was online for stats: homework, quizzes, and tests. Its an easy A. Except for the fact that he likes to cram for "exams" and seems passive aggressive when answering any questions you may have.

Professor Salahat is one of the best teachers for statistics. His homework was easy and he literally gave us what would be on the test. He really wants his students to pass. I recommend him and would take another class with him!

He has funny and informative lectures and the class is pretty easy. You have homework and a quiz after every chapter and you can earn 100% on the homework. I would recommend taking this class with Jamal.

I took professor Salahat for statistics and he is a really good teacher. Sometimes I didn't understand the content but I would email him and he would find time to help me outside of class. Homework takes time but you can redo every question until it is correct so you will get 100% on every homework assignment. Overall a very good teacher!

Very knowledgeable professor. The homework assigned correlates with the exam. Discusses what will be on the exam thoroughly. No surprises. When the class did poorly, he allowed us an opportunity for extra credit.

Really nice guy who actually wants his students to pass the class. Class time is basically just lectures but the slides are the quizzes/exams. He's approachable and tries to make class time more interesting by throwing in corny jokes. Excellent professor who actually teaches you math instead of talking to your face,answers questions in class too.

Amazing professor! He's always willing to help. Class is basically lecture with the occasional off topic conversation. Exams are based off of the powerpoints and he always gives you identical practice problems in class. There are also three short projects. I would recommend him to anyone who wants a math teacher who can TEACH math properly.

He's very funny which makes class interesting. He also is able to explain the material clearly and is always willing to answer questions before/during/after class. He's very approachable and fair. He takes attendance on random days so it's a good idea to go to class regularly. Also, homework is on MyStatLab and you have unlimited tries.

He is a really great professor !! Hes super helpful and wants everyone to pass and get 100s!You should attend class because for his tests it is mandatory. He explains the tests in class and the HW Aleks is a bit different from his test style (his tests are a lot easier)The book is not needed at all you just need Aleks.

Really awesome professor! He tells stories in class to keep you engaged. He also gives sample tests to take home and study that are exactly what you'll be tested on. I would definitely recommend this professor! Gives attendance points and offers extra credit. Need the online text book and mystatlab but not the physical text book.

He is amazing! I got 103% on the final and I fell asleep in class alot. I didn't fall asleep because he was boring i fell asleep cause i was tired but he will tell funny stories just to keep you awake! Homework is easy, tests are easy if you study the homework. Class is awesome!!!! Loved going to class!

If you want to understand Calculus I advise you take this man! He is a math god. Online work most of the time, but very understanding and will email back within 24 hours. He uses histerical life stories to maintain your attention in class. He knows his stuff!

Perfect professor for a hard subject like calculus. He explains the material in an easy to understand and down to earth style. Extremely clear in what he expects from the class. All coursework except the final was online, including exams, which made getting an A extremely easy. Take if possible.
