Pretty easy class. Dr. Skousen says that the textbook is mandatory to buy but it's actually just a copy of his lecture notes that he posts on ecampus. I got an A and I didn't even purchase or look at the textbook. Attendance is not mandatory but he gives pop quizzes and gives/collects homework in class so you might as well show up.

Dr. Skousen is a very wise and caring teacher. His goal is to make his students aware of various ongoing and past environmental topics. There one to two assignments a week but each does not require a lot of time.

Jeff Skousen is not a bad teacher, but he does highly push his own political views onto students. Study guides for tests usually are way more in-depth than the actual tests. The tests are mostly opinion questions including Trump related opinion questions.

I enjoyed his class thoroughly. There is not mystery, only practical problems with practical solutions. He speaks very clearly and knows his stuff. He tries to maintain a balance between environmental concerns and miner's concerns, and he does a good job of giving both sides of the aisle. He's no tree tugging zealot.

If you are truly an environmentalist, you will quickly realize that he is a sellout that cares more about making a quick buck to grab that coal, and tear up any ecosystem in between, than he does about preventing environmental degradation. He speaks of environmental regulation as a pain to him, and could care less about the true meaning of ENVP

He seems like a nice guy, but talks about his own personal life a lot. The class has some interesting parts, but is mostly balony science. I did more complex science in projects in middle school, yet he acts like it's great science.

Amazing! He is so helpful. Tests are not hard at all and you can answer most questions from your common sense. At lest two one-half day field trips will be held in a semester. Also, basic mathmatical exercises are given in each class.
