Comment:

He is a good guy but his class does not show it. There is HW every day that means almost nothing to what you will learn, it is essentially just busy work. He fills the class time with confusing questions that he words awkwardly, leaving the class in an awkward silence as he looks around the room waiting for someone to answer. The class is not fun.

Comment:

He's a good guy that means well, but not who you want to take an 8:30. His lectures are very involved and boring, unless you're into religion. It seems like everyone gets the same grade on HW assignments, based on how he's feeling that day (usually 100s). Assigns HW way too late, but its manageable to complete in a night.

Comment:

Professor Fodor is an interesting character. He'll give a lot of homework and not a lot of time to do it. He means well and is extremely understanding. He also lets you form your own opinion and is a good listener. If you're not lazy, you'll do fine

Comment:

Gives a ton of homework the night before it is due. Class is very lecture heavy and very boring. He was nice on the grading of the midterm (gave points to questions that a majority of us got wrong) and allows for you to write your own opinion. I love theology but this class is very boring. People often fall asleep.

I do not recommend the Honors Friendship Seminar. It becomes very difficult to understand and there is a ton of reading. You mostly deal with ancient philosophers so its hard to keep up. Directions for assignments are also unclear, making it that much harder. VERY hard grader. You will never receive anything close to 100%. Very discouraging.

He is really easy and it is hard to get a bad grade if you show up and participate. The entire class is pretty much discussion and he repeats himself a lot but you definitely get the idea. Not the most interesting professor but he is nice and the class is easy.

Prof. Fodor was always helpful, and really lets the students direct the discussion. He will help you out on complicated texts, but really challenges you to develop your own opinion. This class is boring, every section is, but his interest in the book will help you maintain interest.

Prof. Fodor is the best! He may seem a little dry, but really kept conversation moving in class. He is very objective, and fair grader. Do the reading logs and you'll be fine! There is only 1 test (the final), and only 4 papers. Class participation is key.

Nice guy, but the class sucked.. you had two papper due every class..and forget about missing a class. You would have homework on top of the class disscussion paper you need to write about since you missed it..i'd take another teacher..p.s. those midterm and final paper he giver were the death of me...such a hard grader!

Dr.Fodor is very punctual, and quite routine minded. He is very smart but I really didnt have any trouble getting a high grade in his class. The papers were a pain in the butt, other than that though- he isnt thattt bad.

He is not like will ferrell, because will ferrell is actually cool. Fodor is more of a hipocrite, he'll agree with what you say, and then change everything around. He also doesnt grade anything himself, prolly has the canadians do all his work. If you take him, maybe he'll tell you about his green card and how if he loses it he can be deported..
