I had Prof Lane for an 8am class. He is an easy going prof and really funny. Sometimes he contradicts himself in class, but other than that its pretty easy. You have to take lab hours or write a paper, I actually really enjoyed the lab hours. You NEED to read your book, he will put questions on quizzes straight from the reading.

Amazing professor. Very laid back and fun. I ended up working on the play Equus with him because I enjoyed his class so much. Goes to great lengths to really make you feel welcome. He also turns things that aren't so interesting into things that are. Great teacher and an overall great guy!

Jim Lane is the most amazing professor that i have EVER had. He is laid back and purely amazing. He is also very good looking. Which makes the class all the better. His humor will crack you up. Attendance is not mandatory, but once you get to know him you will never want to leave. I will be taking EVERY class her offers!

He leads to believe that the textbook is rather useless but there are questions on his test that you will fail if you dont read. He is a fun teacher, very lenient and he does what he can to break the monotony. First day in class we watched Lady Gaga "Bad Romance" and had a discussion about it.

Jim is a very funny guy and a great teacher. Lots of outside work but not hard, you have to study a little bit, i had him for a night class so it was a little bit long and boring but overall I would recommend him. Good luck!

not recommended at all. the boring class, can't help urself from sleeping. tests r really vague n the ques r just ridiculous. gives the lecture on smthing n ask diff ques on tests.he just makes the course harder. dont regret like me after taking his class so be careful.

Jim made class harder than what it really is. His tests were too vauge. It was hard to study for this class. He is a nice guy and teaches alright, but rambles on and on about unnecessary topics. I would not recommend taking his class.

I am an Engineering student, this class was needed for an art credit. Mr. Lane made the class interesting, and easy to understand. I have a new found respect for the theater now. Easy "A" class as long as you attend and pay attention. Great teacher.

Jim was my teacher years ago, and he's still adorable. But beyond his looks, he's the kind of teacher that makes you want to go into the same profession. A good mentor.
