Such a character. The material is pretty tough to digest, and the man flies through it like it's a piece of cake. Fortunately, he's pretty generous with the partial credit; not too hard to pull out a B or at least a C

Dr. Jackson is a very smart man. He has been a professor of Economics for over 30 years and there is no doubt he has much experience in the field. With that being said, Econometrics is a very hard class. You have to go to class and stay up on the work load. The key to success is memorizing your notes! JJ is great!

Challenging, rewarding, and useful- the rare Auburn economics class that's honestly worth the tuition. Jackson's good, but you still have to work hard for the A.

Econometrics is the toughest class I've ever taken, hands down (and I'm econ/math). Dr Jackson knows it so well that he forgets it is hard; you HAVE to slow him down sometimes. The exams are really tough, you have to know everything thoroughly, but there's a scale. DO NOT FALL BEHIND, because you will never catch back up. Use office hours often.

this is by far the hardest undergrad class in the econ dept, possibly the business school. Make sure you have a firm understanding of calculus and especially stats, otherwise you will be totally lost. Great class, but it requires a lot of time to understand the material. He tells you what is on the tests, but it doesn't make them easier. STUDY!!

Attend class regularly and take notes fast because he teaches fast! He will help during office hours, and he scales exams around 13-15 points each. Hard material, but with scaling and mandatory reading, you can get an A or B.

The class should be renamed IS-LM the model, the myth, the malignancy. I hate that damn graph. Jasckon's a good prof though. He's fast, the material's very hard, but if you do your work you'll get an A. Buy lots of colored pens, and maybe someone's brain who's smarter than you, too.

great teacher, very helpful. He talks very fast so its hard to keep up with him in an already difficult class but if you go talk to him in his office or after class he'll take time to explain everything to you.
