Comment:

I found this instructor to be nice for the most part. I learned a lot. However, I found that she went too fast through the first half the curriculum. There were only few days of review. There was also a huge amount of outside of class work such as doing lab hours and attending deaf events. I would not recommend this class to anyone full time.

I loved taking her beginning ASL class! Would highly recommend her to anyone and I would take a class from her again. Nice and caring person and is a good teacher. Very happy with my experience! At first I was intimidated because she is deaf, but there was nothing to worry about!

A very nice woman, though I was peeved that she never once checked or collected our workbooks. She had said she would collect it at the end of the semester, and she never did. I was also upset that she gave us a "pop quiz" after our final exam...

Becky is very good. I strongly recommend her. She's a very sweet lady with a very sweet personality. We had some people drop out because it was "too hard". If you do everything she tells you to do, you're well on your way!! Again, she's a very good teacher if you're looking for getting a good dose of Deaf Culture and a good understanding of ASL...!

I went into this class knowing no sign language and dropped the class after 2 weeks because I had learned nothing. The first two classes we didn't have an interpreter so we couldn't understand her, and the next three classes I had learned 2 signs. I want to learn ASL, not try to understand her without an interpreter, it made it impossible to learn.

I thought that she was a great teacher. She made it easy for me to understad. We also had an interpretor which was also nice. Becky, made it pretty easy for me to understand what she was trying to "say"

I loved Becky! We did have an interpreter but I really enjoyed the class. I was a little behind compared to the other students when I started 112 but Becky is great if you have no experience at all with signing!

I took ASL in highschool so it felt alittle boring but if i hadn't known anything I think it would have een more fun. She's deaf so she doesn't really talk but it's really cool because you have to sign with her. I liked her.
