Honestly, one of the worst semesters of my life. DO NOT take him for both Lab and Lecture he will drown you with work. He is an extremely tough grade and loads you with work. Very difficult, and if you choose to take him make sure it is the only class you're taking that semester you will spend 95% of your days during the semester studying packets.

He's very tough, and he gives lots material, but you will learn a lot! His lecture are to easy to understand and his exams are fair (some of the questions straight forward, some are critical thinking). Definitely will take him again.

Wants you to memorize large amounts of material from a packet of notes. Despite that, 10%-30% of his exam Qs are NOT from notes or lecture. I have a background in bio and scored an A. I had a 96% but he didn't give me an A+ b/c I think he prides himself on being considered "difficult". Would be easier if the professor offered fair exams.

This was one of the most stressful semesters in my life. I will never forget how difficult this class was in general and he just made it 10xs more difficult. So much stress do not recommend at all. Beware.

At first I wanted to drop the class because I didnt do so well on my first exam, but Im happy I stuck it out. The first time around, I didnt take him serious when he said to study only his notes!! I studied from google and textbooks, smh big mistake. Once I started using his notes to study it really made a difference.

Took him for Biology lab only and it wasnt that bad. He gave out homework which would be easy and help bring your grade up. The quizzes and practicals were based on the notes he would post on blackboard you just need to study hard. He also does extra credit which really helps and is funny. Great professor would take him again.

100 question exams, beware taking him for both lab and lecture he is a doctor and you will absolutely feel extremely overwhelmed if you take this class, make sure it is the only class that you are taking because he puts way too much pressure on students. B E W A R E

Comment:

Took him for micro over the summer. Definitely makes you work for the grade and can come off mean especially during lab practicals, but I learned a lot. Failed the first test (with a 66) and first lab practical, but pulled all my other grades up to 80s. Be sure to memorize your unknown charts REALLY WELL to have an easier time during those labs.
