People don't give this guy enough credit. Yes, his online class is a lot of work, but I absolutely loved it. The books he assigns to read (and yes, you have to read them) are actually really interesting. As long as you participate in the online discussions and write something somewhat meaningful you will do fine. This class was very interesting.

I took his online Death and Dying class. It was really interesting. There is a lot of reading and watching videos, but you have two weeks to complete each section. You just have to learn time management. The only thing I didn't like was that he really never gave discussion grades. But I ended up swinging an A.

This guy... we sit in class for an hour and 20 mins, and the entire class is spent with him reading our notes off of a printed piece of paper over an ELMO. And then, outside of class, expect to spend at least 10 hours doing his homework assignments. Very boring, though it should technically be an interesting class. Not worth the gen. ed.

Professor is okay in classes, but tests are VERY hard. There is a ton of reading (three books) so be prepared for that. There's also a 15 page paper and at least 6 mandatory online discussions weekly. He knows his stuff and can be funny in class but I'm an A student and I'm honestly expecting a C in this class.

I enrolled in his class because it sounded amazing. However, 60% of the material tested in exams were lectured AFTER the exam. You need to read 3 books, no joke. Make a final paper of @15 pages... Grading is harsh considering he does not cover the material BEFORE the exam... I will never take none of his classes again.

Straight up rediculous. I took this class as a gen ed. You read three books, write a 10-15pg paper and have tests. Redundent teaching, and arrogant. Literally just walked out of the final which covered nothing he reviewed. U dnt want to take a class w this guy unless ur an anthro. major

He is a great lecturer. If you do your work and read the text you will be fine. Sometimes it will feel like you never get a break from his assignments but if you hang in there it becomes a habit. Get to know the man, he is actually very kind and interesting. If you choose to bs your way through his class and readings you will get a bs grade.

Voninski is probably the worst professor I have had in my four years here at Oswego. He is borderline illiterate, full of himself, and incompetent. Paul Voninski is the worst professor I have ever had. He has no grasp of grammar, making his tests incomprehensible. He blows through his notes too fast to write them down. He grades papers without a rubric. I'm a 4.0 student and I'm expecting a low B in his class. He does not deserve to teach at the university level. I am never having sex again.

I don't know what else everyone is smoking that commented on this professor but I think he's great. I laugh my ass off the whole time in class, and he grades very fair. It's a college class don't expect your professor to baby you. O and I did all the reading and I have an A in the class so as long as you do the work you'll get a good grade.

He is a very good teacher. The tests are hard. The information is interesting, and he makes it so that it's not morbid and sad. I'm glad I took his class, I do suggest that if you take this class you be willing to study and work at a good grade. He's a great teacher.

TERRIBLE TEACHER!! I took human sexuality over the summer and i did all of my work but we had two days to do the final exam and unfortunately i had a death in the family a while back and i had to go pick out the headstone during the LONG two days of the final and i couldnt get it in on time. Well i emailed him telling him about it and he said "NO!"

This class is boring AND HARD. You have to copy down notes a million words a minute, and somehow he actually uses ALL OF THE NOTES ON THE TEST. He's kind of funny sometimes, but other times he's just weird. I got a B. COPY DOWN ALL THE NOTES AND MAKE SURE YOU READ THE BOOKS.
